"I would like to change my review after having shots done today with Dr. Fura and his assistant at the Ramos Center. They were both very kind and told me exactly what they were going to do. Everyone in there surgery center was very caring and genuine. Thank you for taking such great care of me. I was a little nervous but you helped calm me. Kathy Williams"
"I give them two stars. I can't seem to get a second appt for some reason. I've called three days in a row, waiting on a Dr to decide whether he'll do two shots or one shot. Does it honestly make a difference. I'm trying to get pain free so that I can sleep and live a normal life again. Not happy!"
"First and foremost, epidural steroid injections are not approved by the FDA for pain management and are illegal in other countries because they cause harm to patients! I wish I had done my research before getting these done. I had been going there for a couple years. After my 6th epidural, I went for my follow up appointment. I stated I was having some issues and was told it was due to my age. I am 45, was 44 at the time. If I had listened, I most likely would have died. I had an abcess from the epidural. This caused me to be off work for over 2 months, over $5,000 in medical bills, a lengthy hospital stay, a lot of physical therapy, and I will never be the same again. This has greatly affected my life and please do your research before doing this sort of thing to your body. The staff was ok, the front desk was very polite, but the NPs and PAs never really took my pain seriously. Now that I have sought out a different provider, I am much better taken care of and listened to. You will never see a physician unless you have a procedure done. So, if you ask to see the doctor, you will be denied this because they do not do that there. I am still waiting for someone to call to discuss the review and have not received a call. I have left several messages about my overpayment refund that they have kept for over a year and was told they would send it in a couple weeks but still have not seen a check."
"The Ramos Center is an excellent place to go to when you're in pain. Dr Jessica Radcliffe is my husband's Dr and she is wonderful! She's very nice, caring, professional, and has a lot of empathy for what he's been going through. She prescribed him a medication that actually worked better than the pain medication he was on! She definitely knows her stuff and the facility is very clean and professional! I wouldn't go anywhere else!"
"I had an appointment to see Dr. Fura because I was referred to the Ramos Center by my Orthopedic doctor. I was told that I would see Dr. Fura for my appointment. However, when I showed up and was waiting in the room his assistant came in and I never saw the doctor. His assistant told me that he never received my test records from my Orthopedic doctor, MRI, bone density and x-rays, but recommended that I have two procedures. No alternatives were mentioned and there was no intention to get my test records. I called afterwards for two months and still they didn’t have my test reports, but recommended that I have procedures costing thousands of dollars. They also told me to get my records myself and deliver the records to them. My appointment with this person was promptly billed for close to $500 though, and it went nowhere. I was concerned that they were recommending procedures that might not be appropriate to my condition since they did not have copies of my test results nor did I speak with any doctor. This appointment and my two months of follow up calls were too uncomfortable for me, so I have no choice but to keep away from this office. They are not caring for the patient, but they are caring for the patient’s money. Very disappointing."
