Reviews of Physician Partners of America
"Getting through to someone who knows anything is impossible! Messages don’t get sent out to the facility for approval of procedures. This has been going on since I have been a patient. It’s very difficult to get anyone to answer the phone @ the Surgery Center. Please advise"
"If it weren't for Dr. Chad Gorman and his amazing staff and their belief in me I wouldn't have the quality of life that I deserve. About five years ago the VA turned me down and 2 other civilian pain doctors did as well for the fact that i am not the classic textbook patient. Dr. GORMAN listened to me and gave me a chance and as a result I'm not longer on such high pain meds that made me extremely loopy . He was able to activate plan on care that has legitimately gave me a whole new look on life and my perspective on pain management has completely shifted. I'm so very grateful for his support and for his team . I highly recommend him to anyone. He also is a huge fan of supporting our military. Thank you for letting me share"
"My name is Heather Leseney, I really hope first of all that this message goes to somebody in the corporate office or management. I was in the Habana office last week and also let me start by saying I have been a patient in that office for many years even before physician partners of America owned it and it was just Dr Leal’s office. I have seen many people in that office come and go, but I have to say last week was the worst visit I ever had with the front desk. There’s a lady named Adriana at the front desk who I tried to talk to her about my insurance and explain that they had the wrong deductible on file. I tried to give her my card so that she could send it to billing because I couldn’t get a hold of billing she blurts out. “Oh my God I told you I can’t do anything for you”. She refused to take my insurance card so that she could notate it to the billing department and not only did I hear this, but I was also on the phone with a gentleman from my insurance company who heard the whole conversation of her being ridiculously rude to me, She even tried to ignore me. The insurance person I had on the phone even offered to talk to the office. Adrianna refused and also said if he calls they won’t speak to him. The person I had on my phone then he offered,”would you like me to find you a different office to go to as he listened to the whole conversation? My reply was not at this time because I absolutely love Dr. Leal’s and Judy they are two of the most caring best doctors ever and if it wasn’t for Judy I would be minus one of my eyes right now because she caught some thing during one of my visits that had nothing to do with pain management I will be forever indebted to her and Dr. Lee all is just amazing and his personality is just as amazing but I will not stand to be treated the way I was in the office again. Could someone please contact me back before I have to change offices."
"The doctors are great, they billing system is the worst. For the past 4 years I have been keeping all my receipt of payments becuase they have a bad habit of sending bills with same charges already paid. If you are not keeping track of payments anyone will overpay them."
"I paid cash, and they still billed my insurance. In the process getting it resolved with them. When you call it's just people in India, they won't give you a case number or anything, ask you to send proof to an email address. I sent it, but I have feeling I'll have to waste time going to my dr's office to get this sorted. Their system doesn't even show I paid "cash." It's a good thing it won't on CC so I have proof. These people take your money and their system can't even keep record that they did. Bordering on fraud here."
