"I'm a 75 year old male living in Lakeland. I injured my knee while running and went to BayCare Urgent Care because of swelling and severe pain. I was promptly given a series of X-rays which were immediately reviewed, and a competent and upbeat doctor came in to interpret them for me. I regret that I cannot remember his name. He explained the findings clearly, along with both a current diagnosis and prognosis and a long term diagnosis and prognosis. To prevent further damage, he recommended immediately wrapping, icing, and resting the knee, along with a topical pain reliever and Extra Strength Tylenol. He then referred me to an orthopedic surgeon, with whom I now have a scheduled appointment. As far as "urgent care" is defined, I couldn't have asked for an easier or better visit. An Emergency Room visit would have been much more difficult and MUCH more time consuming, and could not have been any more useful. Highly recommend."

He was understanding, easy to talk to, and really listened to what was troubling me. I would return here for care if I needed to!"

"This place is amazing. I went for severe shoulder pain. I had to wait a little bit, and I got really anxious, because I am absolutely paranoid about germs, and everybody around me seemed to be pretty sick. I left. They called me later and told me they were ready for me and to come on in. No complaints about my leaving, just come on in. Then when I got back, they let me wait in my car while they prepped the room. I know it seems like a little thing, but it REALLY meant a lot to me."

Amanda was extremely compassionate and understanding. She prescribed medication that started to make me feel better within hours. I am so much better today thanks to Amanda and her staff."
