"I have a large noggin and eyeglasses that fit my head is a challenge. I ended up purchasing frames online and brought to Walmart Vision to have prescription lenses put in. This particular pair of glasses sits by tv chair and only used for watching tv. The lenses protective coating started peeling within a few months, it looks like lots of scratches on the lenses, but I have only used the brand of wipes they provided me with the purchase. I did not have then replace the lenses. I felt guilty I had them replace the lenses once before. I originally had them put in no-line bifocals lenses, but that did not work well for me (made me ill/dizzy). Anyway, the glasses I leave in my car were purchased 2 years before. Same thing, frame bought online and lenses put on somewhere else (SamsClub). The SamsClub lenses are still perfect. It has been over a year since my Walmart purchase, so I am only posting to share my experience and opinion. IMO, Walmart lenses are inferior to SamsClub. I also have CostCo glasses and they are great too. However, I think SamsClub are the best of those stores. My Maui Jim prescription lenses are by far better than any of the stores. In that respect, you get what you pay for."

"Went in here to buy a replacement frame for my daughter, just a frame. The manager Karen told me the person that finds the frames for her lenses was on lunch and to come back in 10-20 mins. I left the glasses and went shopping. Came back in 25 mins and he was back. He had already picked out a frame and then told me he had to wait for the Manager to come back KAREN??? While we are standing there waiting (at least 5 mins which was no big deal) another lady comes AFTER ME in that need something done to her glasses ( I guess she purchased them there because they knew her.) I told her I wanted the frames. She then proceeds to see what the other lady needed, takes her glasses, and goes in the back for about another 5 mins, comes back out with the OTHER LADIES GLASSES! She puts them on and now they need readjusting. I felt like I was in the dam twilight zone… so now I’m like 40 mins in waiting on some lenses to be popped in a frame, NEVERMIND that I was there fist. Also Karen was extremely impersonal and told me not to touch any of the frames because they have to clean them?? SO WHAT, CLEAN THEM! I will also be writing corporate. Disgusting customer service. I took my daughters glasses back from her and LEFT!"
