"My experience at this practice was very off-putting. Although Dr. Panthulu was congenial enough, she did seem to downplay my concerns. The vast majority of my time, however, was spent with her PA. Her PA asked me a few yes/no questions but spent the majority of her time reviewing outside records while in the room with me and then dictating her note into her computer while I was sitting there in the room ("open dictation box"..."labs are ..."). The PA then spoke about me to the physician instead of letting me speak directly to the doctor. As a healthcare provider myself, I do understand that charting is extremely time consuming. However, dictating in the room with me is not good bedside manner. Additionally, I specifically asked to see the physician and not the PA. Overall, not a good experience."
