"This company did wonders for my son. The therapy treatment was on point. I really loved working with his therapists and they really helped me learn things that will help my son identify his emotions and steps he can take to regulate his emotions. I highly recommend this company as they are highly trained therapists that can help children. My son enjoyed his time with them even when tasks got challenging for him."
"Disappointed on how my son was recently handled. I tried calling the office to speak with a manager and left several messages, no returned calls. I asked to have my son’s RBT changed and instead was told my son was being discharged because they had no staff to meet his needs. After reading the reviews I can see that, though they claim to help those with extreme behaviors, they tend to release them when behaviors arise. I really would have liked a call so we could have come to some kind of agreement before he was released. They were so helpful in the beginning."
"My wonderful angel of a niece was kicked out of their program because they said they couldn’t meet her needs . I believe it to truly say a lot about how qualified they are and how unwilling to put in the effort needed to be given to ALL of the very different ranging needs of children on the spectrum. To run a program like this and to truly abandon the children who need help the most is very sad . And to abandon the parents desperately fighting for their children as well ? Not impressed ."
"If you're looking for a company that follows polices, screens employees and does not pick and choose who the polices apply to ,then keep looking. As of a month ago they weren't even accredited. Not sure if they are now or not. If you question why an rbt was allowed to quit a case without notice (nothing wrong with the client) and be put on a new case immediately, leaving the other client without a replacement, then Madea will simply send you an email telling you she is giving you a 30 day notice for your child's services. Stating shes letting you go because she can not give you what you asked for, even though the client still had a day a week with a good rbt. This comes after a complaint to hr about how case was being handled. Talk about suspicious timing. This was nothing more than retaliation to the childs mother. So if you want to keep your child with services dont bother questioning Madea when she allows your childs rbt to break the companies policies. Why even have such things when the owners dont bother enforcing them? Wonder what else isn't enforced. Lisa will just say it's Madeas decision, tell you that the owners allowed this and they will ignore your calls. Good luck to anyone who places their child with this company in the Tampa division. Dont take my word for it but please do you Do diligence before leaving your venerable child in their care."
"Where to even begin. As another person started ABA Solutions completely gave up on my duaghter and when I reach out to Lisa Scott about Madea I recieved a reply emailing saying they were dropping my daughter's case. My email was in regards to out rbt quitting, which not following the 30 day company policy, and immediately begin moved to another client. Why have Company polices if they don't matter. Picking and choosing who's good eno7gh for them to matter to is discrimination. Last year our rbt , leah, wanted to be taken off my daughters case immediately (bc she wwhined a lot) and madea was more than happyy to accommodate that. As a matter of fact i said i wanted to file a complaint but didnt want to involve kerry. Instead of walking me throw it she bruahed me off. She hired a new rbt who quit befire training ended. Instead of making leah complete her 30 day with Nova she allowed her to move on. That left Nova with out services until a new rbt took over. Absolutely wonderful rbt but weeks later she became a bcba so her hours chnaged and she did not work with Nova much. Started school in Jan 2022 with 2 rbts. One was great and welcomed by the school . The other, sandra, was enabling and the school didn't want to work with her. Madea did not listen to my concerns and let for vacation with a schedule that had Sandra starting at the school. Luckily our bcba stepped in acknowledged a problem and placed the other rbt on the case . Madea wanted to move the proper rbt off the case bc she was become a bcaba and had other needs for her. She was not thinking about what was best for the client. My daughter does extremely well in school and it's know that besides the school transition the hours are to take place at home. Besides Thursday when she's does aba at home with Trish. Madea says she chnaged trishes schedule to accommodate Nova but that's not even true as trishes other client was with a different company. Last Friday I recieved a text from her rbt that sandra was quitting with out giving the 30 day company policy notice. Madea approved this so I reached out to Lisa who wouldn't take my calls. Madea responded to the email I sent Lisa and ended it by saying she was terminating services for my daughter in 30 days bc she could not give me what I wanted. My child's been with Trish on Thursdays so at the least she should have that. They set it up to look like on paper that the chuod has supports. My daughter is approved 32hrs a week. She gets 6 hrs a week. Her bcba has no weekend or evening available and her bcba can come eveyi other Friday for 2 hours. So for a child approved for apx 120 hrs a month she would be getting 28 of them. Yes I absolutely wanted more hours with Trish and they shouldn't have been taken away..this company picked and chooses what clients matter. Telling me you're letting my daughter go bc she can't meet her need wheen she has a great therapist on Thursdays is a complete lie. They are letting go of my child because multiple procedures were not followed and i spiked up. They are letting my child go out of retaliation. Every single thing is documented. From calls to interactions in my home. All of it. We did not violate 1 policy and my daughter gets kicked out because I had the audacity to go over madeas head and ask for answers about her not inforcing her own companies polices. I've gone all the way up to LisaScott. All i have keft to talk w are the owners and i dont thibk they will help me. At this point I am filing complaints on the rbt , bcba maia. Medicade has very strick laws about supervision and there was a whole month she didn't supervise a bcaba. That's medicade fraud. And I don't want to hear how she moved from easter seals to another school bc she always had home hours so it's a mute. Lets not forget when1st rbt wasnt watching her and she got bit by anys 2 days 8n a row .I'm holding out a sands grain of hope that dave and Jeff will Call me have a conversation ,hear my convers and fix this. If they do I will happily retract my statement but as of 8 pm on 8/28 I haven't heard from either"
