"When I first got there, I could not do much because I would feel tremendous pain in my shoulders. After eight weeks Dylan Shaw rehabilitated my shoulders. Now I’m able to go to the gym. I’m very thankful! Dylan Shaw is an excellent trainer and person."
"I was very pleased with my experience at All Florida Orthopedic Associates. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The doctor had very good bed side manners. He asked if i had any questions or concerns which demonstrated to me the care and concern of his patients. The assistant was phenomenal."
"At no point did I feel like anyone was listening to me. I've been playing sports for over 20 years at multiple levels, so I know when something is wrong. Nobody wanted to answer questions. During my last appointment, I watched the person in the room type into the notes "Patient did not have any reactions to the shot. Answered all questions and concerns of the patient." I thought that was interesting since the doctor hadn't even entered the room. Sure enough, everyone ran out of the room as soon as possible once what I came for was over. I'm curious if they would have taken the time to change the notes if I did react negatively to the shot? Anyways, over 4 months since the injury and nothing has healed. When I tried to ask about stuff not healing, I was told call back after 6 months. Sounds pretty lazy to me. Hopefully the next place I go shows at least some care for their patients."
"(Although they’ve helped me after multiple attempts of asking, respectfully, this clinic takes on more than they can handle.) I’ve never left a review in my life until now and that says so much about this. I’ve been dealing with AFO for two months now and it has been a very stressful time for me. A lot of it has to do with communicating with them. I felt like every number I pressed in the greeting led to voicemail or a long wait and they gave me the run around each time I had to speak to someone with no follow up. Their website say they are excellent in St. Pete but it’s far from that. I was even told that they had too many patients that’s why they can’t answer the phone. And then I get the attitude just because they are a bigger practice. People actually have concerns/are in pain and it’s frustrating when you don’t get help from a place you are suppose to trust. To you it’s just a job, but it’s the tip of the iceberg of my life. (I only spoke to one pleasant person on the phone here named David from triage and wouldn’t discredit that) oh and apparently when I asked to get a hold of the supervisor or manager they are not allowed to be contacted. Are they celebrities? This has been mentally draining."
"I have been doing physical therapy here at All Florida for about 6 months now, coming between once and twice a week with few off weeks. I am ALWAYS checked in and greeted as quick as possible, the front desk is very aware and actionable in scheduling, checking in, and communicating when patients are out of office. I also love that I get email reminders about my appointments a few days beforehand, just in case I need to cancel or hadn’t gotten a schedule card. If I have to call and leave a message I get a response within the day usually, and scheduling over the phone is also very easy! I like to schedule about a month ahead so I can get in my preferred time slot with my preferred therapist, as they serve many patients. Scheduling out is highly recommended. The office and therapy areas are clean, well maintained, and they play great music in the background. The equipment is clean, new, and comfortably arranged throughout the floor. All of the physical therapists are kind and smiley when you walk through, and seem understanding of what you need. They will work with you and help you recover so well if you put the effort into it. All Florida will go above and beyond if you show up consistently, on time, put in the effort, and call ahead if you need to cancel or will not make it in. I have greatly enjoyed working with Dan, Kyle, and Anthony, though every employee is knowledgeable and capable! The staff can and will set you up to succeed, you just have to put in the effort. Parking is sometimes difficult, but there is complimentary valet, a loop to drop people off, and a second lot just across the side street."
