"The Palm Harbor office is terrible. I am my father's caregiver and took him first to see Dr. Barkley. Dr. Barkley has terrible bed side manner and lacks compassion. During a cystoscopy, my father leaked all over the place. Dr Barkley said he would send someone in to help clean up...no one came in. He also yelled at me. He told me to double the dose of one of my father's medications and started to walk out the door. I asked him to please wait a moment so I could verify the dose. It turned out thst my father was already on the highest dose and doubling it would have been dangerous. The front desk made a scheduling error, so we wound up coming to the office for no reason. My father was rescheduled for testing in the Clearwater office, which is further from his home. He has mobility and bladder control issues. Dr. Szell was very nice and helpful over the phone. She arranged to have medication samples ready for pick up for us. I made arrangements with the front desk, but on 2 occasions, no one was there. I hired a caregiver to stay with my father twice for no reason. The PA in Clearwater is also very nice. It is impossible to get through to a real person when you call, so just hit 2 and leave a message. I highly discourage anyone from seeing Dr. Barkley. See Dr. Szell at the Clearwater location instead! I never leave reviews, but people need to be aware of how terrible this location is."

"The doctors are fine but the staff couldn't be worse. If you call you reach a central office whose staff mostly consider your questions or concerns a nuisance. The in-office staff are slightly better but not good. If you understand this going in you'll be better off"
