"I have taken my elderly mother here twice. Both times the staff was pretty pleasant and the doctor's assistant was polite and efficient. I was a bit surprised at how little time the doctor spent with my mother and me each time, but as long as his diagnosis was correct that is fine. However, the last time, he changed her prescriptions and I was assured that these would be processed in a timely measure and electronically sent to our pharmacy. Our appointment was at 2:30 PM, but by 5 PM the prescriptions had still not been sent to the pharmacy. I left a text message and received an auto-reply saying they would reply the next day. No reply came. I recalled in the morning to the central number and was told that I had called at 8:51 AM, which was not true. My first call was at 10:15. Prescriptions still not sent. I was told that there were sent and I just had to be patient, even after so many hours! She told me to call back at 12 noon if they had not yet arrived. In the meantime the pharmacy called to request them and they were told that they HAD NOT been sent and would not be sent until the end of the day. 27 hours after we had been in the office and had been assured that the prescriptions would be sent in a timely manner. Finally at noon, still no prescriptions, a young lady named Michelle did some work to process the prescriptions and send them off so I could get them after 1 PM. These were BP medicines and the whole reason we were sent to the cardiologist was because her BP had rocketed to 211/110 a few weeks earlier. She is 87 and I don't want her to have a stroke. So getting meds to her in a timely manner is important! That is the only problem I have with this office at this time. It was difficult working through the call center for several offices rather than being able to speak directly with the Zephyrhills office. I am hoping that in the future no new prescriptions will be needed. It took too many hours to correct what should have been an easily solved problem. Even Walmart or McDonalds has better customer service when an order is incorrect or not prepared properly."

"I have been trying to tell dr.'s for 15 years that my heart has been racing 140's-150's & that it was very high! Finally on my very first visit with Dr.Kuu, he gave me an EKG & my heart rate was off the charts! I was finally put by him on the correct medication & just like that my heart rate was immediately dropped in the normal range & I immediately began to feel better than I had in a very long time ! I would recommend anyone who might be having trouble with chest pains, rapid heart rates, slow heart rates or any type of chest or heart problems that you may be having to definitely give their Dr.s & staff definitely a try.
