Dr. Shirley Ice - Express Care of Belleview

"This is an actual comment about Dr Shirley Ice, not the Express Care office she works at, like many are referring to. She can’t control the workings of the front office or the times people are seen. She is very knowledgeable, and actually prescribed the correct medication after I was diagnosed with upper respiratory infection and sinus infection at West Marion hospital several years ago. She has since taken great care in treating me considering I have several autoimmune diseases. And got me a referral for a new Rheumatologist when I needed it. I will always see her when I need to be treated for conditions that are not needing a hospital visit."

"Mixed feelings. Dr. Ice is amazing. The wait time is beyond ridiculous. Waiting over an hour and a half just to be seen by triage, is unacceptable. Seriously considering changing doctors, they do not respect their patients and their time."

"Dr Ice is good and see listen to your problems and helps out a lot ,but The wait time is ridiculous . They should hire more Dr if that’s the problem. You should not have to wait over two hr to just be put in a room and another 1 or so to see a Dr . All we were here for was to change a medicine."

"My husband has a life threatening health problem, It took the records staff about 4 weeks to fax the results to the cardiologist after about 5 attempts on my part to have them sent. We went to the cardiologist appointment and he no idea why we were there. Come to find out they were not efficient enough to follow up their own fax was going to the a phone number not fax line. Then there is the 3 to 5 hour waits with an appointment. And rudeness from the staff. Save yourself the aggravation and find a place with a staff large enough and caring enough to do their job. This is only one of many stories I have about this place."

"Made an appointment for CHEST PAIN and I was waiting for 3 hours. I ended up having to leave because I had to feed my baby and Dr. Shirley Ice never even saw me. The nurse that was there was very rude and spoke condisensing towards everyone. Horrible place DO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE."
