"Is zero stars an option? I’ve been a patient with Tammie Leydig for about a year. 10 minutes into my first appt, she tells me I have bipolar disorder. She has a notebook with names of medications in it, and she flipped to a page and told me to “pick one”. Nothing has gotten better. At my last appointment, I showed her pictures of my bloody fingers from the constant skin picking, and was in tears. She added yet another medication to my routine, and handed me a card for the suicide hotline in case I needed someone to talk to. I’ve given this place more than enough time, and they don’t listen, they don’t take anything you say seriously. I took an ADHD assessment, she never looked at it, she handed it to the receptionist to put in my file. Mental health is serious. And I know I’m not the only one that is sick and tired of constantly feeling defeated and not getting better. I will never go back."

"I had one appointment with Tammy. I called to confirm my follow up appointment, and the new receptionist closed my account and told me that I moved out of state. If your mental health is your priority, this is not the office for you."

"When I scheduled my appointment, they told me they would call me back after I filled out paperwork. A week passed without a call and I had to be the one to call back for an appointment. They told me I would have to wait at least 6 weeks for the next availability. Once the appointment time came, I received a voicemail stating to be there at my appointment time. I arrived 10 minutes early and wasn’t even greeted by the two people behind the desk. When I said hello, the guy, Erik, behind the desk was short and didn’t greet me, only asked for my name and before I even finished, he rudely interrupted me and said “we need to reschedule you.” Even after insisting the voicemail said to be there at my appointment time, he continued to interrupt me and cut me off mid sentence. I went to play the voicemail as proof insisting that I could fill out paperwork afterwards, but he rudely told me “there’s no need to be testy.” I responded with “please don’t be rude to me. I’m only trying to make this work and haven’t been on my psych meds in over 8 months and desperately need them” he said “am I raising my voice? No. So I’m not being rude.” Which I then responded with, “you don’t need to raise your voice to be rude.” He was condescending and gave me an appointment for a month and a half later. My husband called 30 minutes after I left the office to schedule an appointment just to see, and was given an earlier appointment time. I was discriminated against and I will never EVER recommend them to anyone. GO TO OCALA PEOPLE! Balanced well-being have me an appointment within a week and literally saved my life. Instic is careless, thoughtless, and all around a bad environment. Not at all designed for people on the brink of mental health."

"I found an actual doctor and have not looked back. Do not recommend. They do not care about your mental only about the money I only saw Tammy once. My mental is important and my new doctor said I’m not the only one who had issues with this office."

"Wish I could give zero stars honestly. Scheduled an appointment with a PSYCH MD and got to see a nurse practitioner instead. She was extremely rude and it was not worth the money considering I’m currently without insurance. When I went for my second appointment I called and said I might be five minutes late, I was exactly 2 minutes late and the desk said I had to reschedule she had already taken the next client who had the appointment time after mine but showed up an hour early. Very unprofessional. Changed my medication for no reason, which only made me struggle till I found a qualified ACTUAL therapist."
