"Dr Stanton was good but the medical staff are not courteous and don’t seem happy. If you have Tricare, they require you to get the Specialist to fax information to them before they will do the request for authorization. I have never experienced this in the 20 years I’ve used Tricare and since the Dermatologist office wouldn’t fax the info, FMC said I couldn’t go there. I have since switched to Advent Health and they have been much nicer and handled the referrals without needing info from the Specialist."

"The lady at check in as New patient was extremely nasty and rude. She was very condescending and fake polite. The facility was old, not up to date, warm or welcoming. The doctor was a complete waist of my time, unwelcoming, did not smile once or get to know me. I took off work and waited 4 months for appointment. He walked in the room at 10:31 a.m. and I was in my car at 10:40 a.m. My son had a 1st new patient appointment later that day and I told him to cancel. It was the worst experience Icw ever had in a doctors office. It wasn't worth calling off work for such a waist of time. I have never had a Dr office charge me before being seen. I was charged for nothing."

"I’ve been a patient with FL Medical for almost 20 years. I’ve used several of their specialists over the years without much of an issue. But trying to get an appointment with my PC without having to schedule weeks in advance has been virtually impossible. I’ve noticed this gradually getting worse over the last 12-18 months. Fortunately, I don’t get sick very often but the last couple of occasions I told they couldn’t get me in for several days - not even to see a PA. I’m currently running a 102 fever with extreme congestion (tested negative for Covid) and called this morning at 830a. Was told no available appointments this week! But that a nurse would contact me. After not hearing from anybody I called back at 300p and was told again that a nurse would contact me. It’s interesting their website says”dedicated to keeping you healthy.” I think I’d have to question their dedication at this point. I’m seriously considering moving to a new group practice because FL Medical’s ability to meet patient needs has declined over the last year or so."

"I have had nothing but great experiences with the staff. I always get return calls promptly. The lab staff is great. Sometimes a bit of a wait but I'll take that considering how well cared for I feel."
