"Shocked to see so many negative reviews. I’ve been going here for years as a patient of Dr. Pino. I now have seen Dr. Diaz for a few months, while it was a little rocky transitioning due to her patient load increasing, she has been amazing and accommodating to my needs. She is very thorough but also quick to the point which I appreciate (having anxiety with long appointments.) The office staff has never given me any issues. Jamie is awesome and very helpful. I am signed up for therapy but Dr. Diaz is a great psychiatrist and has been a big help in my journey finding a right fit of medication for me as well as therapists for coping mechanisms ♥️"
"Dr Diaz is condescending and flippant for someone who works in mental health. Happy to see some other bad reviews so others don't make the same mistake."
"I Loved seeing Dr Diaz!!! She was so kind, encouraging and helpful! HOWEVER, the Office Staff leaves ALOT to be desired!!! They have absolutely Zero Concern, Care and/or Compassion!! They’re in too much of a hurry to get back to their phones or talking with each other. I have been seeing Psychiatrist since I was in my teens, (Many Many years ago) and I have NEVER seen Office Staff as horrible as these. I ultimately Stopped seeing Dr Diaz because of the horrendous front office Staff. I have enough issues without being treated as if I’m a bother or “less than” when I am at a facility by my own free will paying outta my pocket to get some help! Dr Diaz is Amazing and I would love to begin seeing her again but I cannot… the front Office Staff must go first…. YES! they are TRULY THAT BAD!!!"
"If you value courteous, attentive, or competent office staff, don't go here. One star rating for the receptionists. I have been here three times in 5 months. Every time the office ladies have been short and unhelpful. They seem upset I'm asking them to do their basic job functions (change address, make appointments and payments). They don't understand the billing (a mysterious lady comes in and does it once a week or so), and they are rude and short on the phone. I've been hung up on twice today. No "Goodbye, have a nice day" or "Is there anything else you needed." Just a click and their gone. I'd give her name, but she never gave it, even after I mentioned she never gave her name. I had billing questions and she rattled off numbers. They quickly lose patience if you ask an additional question. I haven't received any statements from them since going there (5 months), and she said they sent them. I even verified my billing address. Then she hung up. I had to call back to schedule my appointment! When I asked if there was a manager or someone I could speak to (to get more polite, thorough help and explain the poor experience), she stated she was "superior over the other girl at the desk" and I couldn't speak to their boss (the doctor). So I suggested some basic customer service skills (speak slower, give your name, and ask if there is anything else needed before hanging up). Of course, she did not appreciate the suggestion and hung up on me. lol Since there is no way to contact someone else beside the reception phone and email, I'm guessing they screen all the complaints without sending it along to the doctor (their boss). Luckily, I am stable and in a good place rn. I hope no one who is unstable or seriously depressed has the same experience. I will not be returning since Dr. Diaz is ending virtual appointment at the end of 2022. Dr Diaz is a good doctor. Four star rating for her. She is a calm, friendly, and patient doctor, and she is a good listener. She gives a little advice, but mostly listens. In my experience, psychiatrists don't really do counseling. They refill prescriptions and ask a few questions to see if you are stable. If you want counseling and tools to improve your overall mental health (outside of medication), see a psychologist or counselor."
"Dr. Diaz is a great psychiatrist. However I will not be returning here due to rude staff. Since before my first appointment, speaking to the receptionist was a very unpleasant experience. So much so, I even considered canceling my first appointment before meeting Dr.Diaz since her receptionist was the worst and made me feel even more horrible. This is a mental health practice- they should hire compassionate and kind receptionists. I am very disappointed in their choice of staff and I hope they value patient experience more. If a suicidal patient had this experience, there might be dangerous consequences. If you are struggling with mental health and simply making an appointment is a barrier to entry for getting help- avoid this office."
