Reviews of Lake Area Physical Therapy Inc
"After having a shoulder injury (2019) shoulder surgery (2019) and physical therapy (2019-2021) I began to have strength and range of motion issues. I came to Lake Area Physical Therapy to get some help. The entire staff was fantastic. Everyone is cheerful, helpful and very knowledgeable. You could see they cared about each and every person in there and getting them back to the best they can be. Heidi clearly explained why I was having issues and decided a plan to give me relief. With her guidance I was able to get my strength back as well as my range of motion in a short time. I would highly recommend anyone to have their physical therapy done here."
"I'm moving better, and feeling more confident about my situation with my balance."
"I have used Lake Area 3 times and have received excellent care the staff is professional, helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this place!"
"Don't go here. The lady that answers the phone will try to make you feel bad if you have to reschedule. I am disabled. I have seizures and migraines. I broke my shoulder during a seizure and had to have surgery. I needed PT after surgery. This was the closest place. Obviously, with a seizure disorder, I'm not allowed to drive. There's no Uber or Lyft out here in the country so I rely on the mercy and generosity of people I know to get to places I need to be. I scheduled an appointment here. My transportation fell though at the last minute because the person taking me tested positive for covid. I tried to find another ride but it was too late. So I called and rescheduled. She asked me if I wasn't feeling well. I said, "Well, no I'm not but it's actually because my ride fell through." She rescheduled for a few days later. This time the person who was going to take me was in a car accident. They were hit by a drunk driver. I called back again to let them know I didn't have transportation. She gave me a hard time about it. She said something about, "We need to know because we have other people with appointment." She also tried to say something about how much my shoulder needs the rehab. She made me feel like I was doing something wrong by needing to reschedule. She wasn't very nice about it but she rescheduled me again for today, the 14th of December, at 130. I don't apologize to people for my disability. It's not anything I can control. The two problems with transportation are also out of my control. They people who couldn't take me are also people I care about who are in terrible situations right now. So I was in pain physically and also worried about my friends and family and what they're going through. She works in health care. She could have bit more compassion and understanding instead of trying to make me feel bad for not coming. It bothered me so much that I found somewhere else to go. I won't ever apologize for my disability and I won't ever let someone guilt trip me or make me feel bad for it. I spent 2 years doing that when I was still trying to hold down a job with this disability and constantly apologizing to my employer and feeling guilty and upset that I couldn't keep their schedule. I won't do it anymore and I especially won't take it from someone who is supposed to know better because they work in an industry that is supposed to help people like me. I ended up going somewhere else simply because of this."
"Great place and awesome staff! Thank you Mrs.heidi, Mrs.Mary and Mrs.Kimberley for everything ya'll have done!"
