"Initial Care received in hospital was decent, Individual was communicative, however they call, and dont leave a message as to why, and no one is ever available to answer questions when called. You wait, to then be put on hold, and told to call back or leave a message. I would If I knew who to leave one for. Shands and Hanger (Gainesville and Valdosta) Need to get their act together."

At a time that can be pretty discouraging and hard to understand Hanger will work with you time and time again until everything is right. With their help I have accomplished walking better than I ever thought possible and I was even motivated to ditch my old wheelchair because they made walking enjoyable again! "Did not make the brace that my physician ordered but decided that another type would be better. That brace did not work. Went back and was casted for the one that the original order was for. Two weeks later..."Uh, do I still have an appt. for tomorrow morning?" "Let me check on the authorization and paperwork." "uh, NO, the authorization hasn't been received." "When, exactly were you going to let me know this?" "We usually do it in the afternoon before the appt. the next day." Really...my time is just as valuable as yours. "Well, we had to get a new order from your doctor for the 2nd one." You wouldn't have if you had made the brace he ordered the first time. NEVER AGAIN."
