"First, if you plan dive BHB, call the shop to check on the visibility. I had initially planned to dive Blue Heron and then, to do a two tank offshore dive, later, in the week. As the visibility at BHB was poor, Pura Vida applied a credit to the offshore reef dive. I would also recommend that less experienced divers or divers without a regular buddy hire a guide for the dive. Both, of the PVD provided guides were great. Also, I had the shop to some maintenance on my BCD, that was handled well with follow-up communications. FWIW, the boat launch is a few miles from the shop. The shop has a nice selection of dive equipment & accessories and is well organized. I hope to make back to Riviera Beach & dive with Pura Vida again."

Granted I was a bit nervous and anxious on the first day but with his assistance I was able to calm down and perfect each skill by the end of the class. If you want to dive Blue Heron Bridge, do it with Pura Vida. One of my favourite parts of the shop’s business model is the points program. "This is my third experience with Pura Vida Divers. My husband and I have rented equipment, gone on a boat dive, and this weekend we completed our enriched air and advanced open water certs. Everyone there has been top notch. Paul, Jorge, and Bonnie completed our course work and they were excellent. They all incorporated additional skills with the required skills that will be hugely valuable as we continue to dive. Being from out of town, the whole experience was seamless. They were able to accommodate doing our enriched air while we were already there for the advanced open water course. Both Jorge and Paul reached out the week prior to confirm everything, making sure we had their contact info. Bonnie seemed to really enjoy our fish id dive which made even more enjoyable for us. Our deep dive off the boat were excellent. The crew was fantastic and made sure we had everything we could need, including scrubbing my mask out for me right before we went off. They make it such a fun experience in a professional and safe environment. You can tell everyone has a true passion for diving. We even had a little bird land on the boat and a decorator crab that ended up on the boat. Definitely a memorable experience! The staff in the store were also super helpful.
