Reviews
"A lot of these reviews are over a year old and I wanted to write a positive one, because my experience was positive. I've recently stopped going because I had to move away, but for the time I was there, it was a great experience. Unfortunately I can't remember the name of the therapists I had, I know the first one was miss jean but the 2 others I don't recall. Anyways, to talk about the experience: My last therapist was a very good therapist. She was understanding, although we didn't get to know each other well. The second therapist I had (she left the job) was really energetic. Sometimes it was a little much, but she listened to me very well and said I could be very good at forensic science. It turns out I am :) The first therapist I had was miss jean, her therapy didn't really work for me. She talked too much about her own personal experience and I didn't really get to learn how to deal with my emotions. She retired I believe. However, I'm rating this place a 4 star instead of a 5 star because of the psychiatrist. He was horrible. I don't know if he's still there, but his name is Dr.O (he never mentioned his full name, everyone just called him doctor o). I understand that psychiatrists aren't supposed to comfort the patient, but he was extremely rude. He had told me I was faking my illness, he broke the law by telling my parents something I didn't consent to being said, and he spread a rumor that I wanted to be called by my deadname. It is PATHETIC that he spread a rumor about a 13 year old. I had to inform everyone that my name was still the same and I did NOT change my name. I hope he gets fired. Overall, my experience was good. I just cannot believe that they would let the psychiatrist get away with that."
"This place has been so kind and sweet to me during my difficult experiences. The staff is very kind and friendly. I will continue to give this place rave reviews for therapy ."
"I love my therapist. He is amazing. Sadly, because of the new receptionist I am parting ways with Morning light. She is extremely rude, argumentative and lacks empathy. Working in an environment like she is in you need to want to be there for more than a paycheck. She has made it clear to me on several different occasions that she should work somewhere that does not involve people. I can't even call up there anymore because she triggers my anxiety to an extreme level. The first person you talk to at a mental health facility should be friendly and willing to help. You have to interact with a variety of people and she is not capable of that. I hope her bosses see this and communicates with her on appropriate behavior and gives her some tips in communicating with others. I'd recommend not coming here. There are other places. Allow me to make it clear that this review after five different occasions dealing with her rude behavior. 100% agree with the rudest person of the year parking spot."
"To those reviews saying not to believe the Neg reviews, You either had a rare experience, or you're lying. * Watch your billing. (have charged my daughter twice for every visit) I have been insulted by the office manager, and my daughter was lied to by the same OM. I was told that if I wanted any part of my file I would pay them $50.00 flat rate. I told them that was illegal and after I left. The "owner" (If that was who he was) called me to harass me telling me how it was. HIPPA states you can only charge $1.00 per page for the first 25 pages. You have to let a pt. see their file for free and they only have to take pages they need. He told me I would be forced to take everything or nothing at all. I will have my provider request for my files. I know the details of EVERY visit so if they have been altered or damaged in any way, or if they are not sent I will involve my lawyer, the Florida Dept of health and ACHA."
"Facility has gone down in the last several months. Most employees have left, there is no one available to manage prescriptions, the manager has lied to my grandmother about her prescription and never told her that kay left. She was scheduled for a tele refill last week and the company didn’t even cancel. Just wouldn’t call or answer phones. Now my grandma is without the meds that they have had her on for two years and there is no where to go to have it refilled until after the new year! Save your time and money do your research and make the drive elsewhere if you want legitimate mental health services."
