"I had to come by ambulance to the ER because my kidney had quit working and although the 12 hr wait in ER sucked but the nurses and the doctors were both good. I want to make a special shout out to Dr Christensen the hosptialist was absolutely amazing listened intently and didn’t presume to know everything. Thank you"

"If this review can deter any one person from going to Bay Medical it'll have done its purpose. This hospital is rated a 2.4 for a REASON. Nurse Practitioner Debroh Lynn Bailey is the one of the MOST unprofessional, rude , unpatient nurses I've ever met. She would not listen to her patient . She was condescending. She's a blantant liar. The staff is lazy. I felt like i was in a episode of greys anatomy- everyone standing around chatting and gossiping. If you have ANY choice of hospital do NOT pick Bay. Have heard terrible things and my father picked this hospital spur the moment in an emergency. He says he will never go back in his lifetime."

"I have nothing but good things to say about everyone I encountered in the ER. They did their best to find out why I was fainting. Ran all appropriate tests. It was long wait, but they had trauma patients coming in. You have to understand they are trying to treat people by seriousness and I didn’t mind the wait. That’s what happens in the ER. If ppl quit using the ER for primary care they wouldn’t be as packed! I’m just saying"

"Awful hospital. All the scumbag things you hear about they will try to do to you. I got a CAT scan for no reason and never had one before for what I was experiencing. Turns out that if they believe they can CAT scan you, they will, and more than half the time, they won't use it. (Know this from someone who worked there as a tech in that department). Keep in mind that that CAT machine is not part of the hospital, so it might be out of coverage. They also made my partner wait in the lobby for 4 hrs for dehydration. Then, he tried to charge her for a room that long. This hospital is a scam and should be closed down."

"Let’s be honest, no emergency department is ideal. I will say that after having been to Gulf Coast down the road, and discharge prematurely, they stepped up to the plate quickly and provided excellent care the whole way through, including the emergency department and the admission. I did return after being discharged for some unforeseen complications, but the emergency department did absolutely everything in their power to help get me back on my feet so that I could go home and continue recovering."
