I had the information pulled up on my app and offered to email it to her to be printed, but she told me she cannot accept that. She said to me, “I need the card to scan for the chart.” In which, I do not understand why an emailed copy cannot be printed out for the chart. This is not Stone Age. These apps were created to provide convenient access to your insurance card. Luckily, I was able to go to the primary care side and they were able to schedule me an appointment within a few hours, using my insurance card from the app to update my information."
