"White Wilson (specifically the nurse for Dr. Vigo named Melissa Jordan) is hands down the WORST care I have ever received. They dropped me as a patient bc my husband (who is dying of a rare and incurable lung disease and needs a double lung transplant) was in the hospital for 3 months and I was 300 miles away with him and could not follow up with a doctor they referred me to for pain management. I told them I couldn't go to pain management and would just suffer bc I'd rather be with my husband before he died. This Melissa lady was extremely rude to me and I told her that I didn't appreciate the way she spoke to me so she used her connection within white Wilson to have me dropped as a patient for "noncompliance" all because I refused to go to a pain management clinic. Keep in mind, I never asked them for anything else. I didn't ask them to manage my neuropathy, I simply said I'd just go without treating it for now until things settled down regarding my husband. Also, I'd been a patient of his for several years so I didn't think it'd be an issue, but I was wrong. The lack of compassion that I received was atrocious to say the least. They dropped me right after prescribing me 2 new medications that I had a severe reaction to and then refused to see me. So now, I'm without a doctor and no one who accepts my insurance is accepting new patients. I am a type 1 diabetic and I am on several medications as a result of that which are insanely expensive and I can't afford to pay for without a prescription from a doctor and some I can't get without a prescription. Needless to say they just royally screwed me and my child over at a time where we are struggling and hurting so much already over my husband's situation. I absolutely do NOT recommend Dr Vigo/ White Wilson in Fort Walton Beach. They are TERRIBLE and that nurse should be fired for her disgusting behavior and treatment of patients. I will be obtaining legal counsel and pursuing the matter further in court."
