"I have seen Dr. Kang twice for back issues, once in March and again last week. Each time he has fixed my back spasms which allowed me to get back to normal quickly. Without his help and expertise, I would be in bed, unable to walk or exercise for a week or two. In March, we were in Orlando at Universal walking 20,000+ steps a day 2 days after his treatment, and this last time I received his care on Friday and was back in the gym weightlifting and using the elliptical on Saturday. "I came in while on vacation here in with severe blockage in my shoulder to where I could not raise my arm and moving my arm at all resulted in severe pain accompanied by crunching noises. I've had experience with Traditional Chinese Medicine before, and know a little bit about it, so was able to describe my historical diagnoses, but being on vacation, we were not able to use long-term treatments to address imbalances in the body that TCM excels at. Dr. Kang took an approach of local area treatment, which involves very deep needling, which he was able to apply with essentially no pain whatsoever. This is very important, and not many acupuncturists can do it well. Dr Kang also utilized cupping, electrical stimulation, massaging, and joint rotation, again with virtually no pain at all. Imagine getting a rotative shoulder massage with fifteen needles stuck two inches deep into your flesh and experiencing no pain, only some refreshing sensation of stimulation of the area that had previously felt like it was experiencing rigor mortis. My shoulder is fully functional. I'll probably continue a few sessions and an herbal treatment with an acupuncturist in Scottsdale where I live to ensure the effects remain permanent, but I have to credit Dr. Kang's extremely high level of technical skill and observation with effectively curing this unusual and very painful and almost debilitating condition that caught me while on vacation, in only two acupuncture sessions. Dr. Kang is an excellent practitioner, and should be sought after by those who want to try acupuncture but who may have a fear of needles or a high level of sensitivity to them."
