"I had my daughter’s birthday party here and I could not be more happy with the experience we received! We booked the Basic package but it was anything but basic! We got access to the museum all day as long as we wanted for us and all of our guests and we had plenty of time in the party room! We also booked a reptile encounter with Leo the bearded dragon and it was the most fun experience ever. I highly recommend spending the extra 50 bucks. It will ensure that your child has the most memorable party for them and their guests! Jack, our party host was so kind and helpful with our questions and our items that we brought in for the party, and Christa the manager and reptile handler was amazing with the kiddos & teaching them all about Leo. I 100% would recommend having a party here. It was everything we needed and wanted and more!"
"Today, we had a birthday party here. At first, I was not 100% confident that it will be a good party since the room could be reserved for an hour and a half. I am spoiled with the time since we always had a birthday party at home ( no limiting my time). Guests had difficulties of finding a parking spot. However, the party turned out to be one of the best! The room was pretty clean and the host, Jack was so awesome. I couldn't ask for any better host. He was Amazing!!! I would like to recommend to have a birthday party here. We loved it and so did our guests!"
"I think the idea is great. I loved the separate STEM areas and free parking. The price was reasonable as well. My dilemma is in the maintenance of the items, the cleanliness, and the overcrowding. I decided to go with my son and two others moms right when they opened on a weekday. We have toddlers all under 2. There were older kids in the toddler zones, mom’s not attending their kids and almost running over our small ones, some areas were filled with dirt/debris that my son kept trying to pick up, and broken equipment. If this place was better maintained and maybe has a children capacity/time slots, I would have paid the money for the annual membership despite living 40 min away. Unfortunately do to all the above, I will probably not be back."
"Dirty. Lots of kids activities and interactions but it’s all so dirty. The museum was closed last week for maintenance but I went 4 days after it reopened and it was still so dirty. I only went into the fire department area (outside of the little kiddie zone) and the seats had tears in them and the equipment was extremely worn out and very dingy. The sandpit area for the little kids had a lot of hairballs and lint in it. The climbing toys have a dirty dark film over it. And all the interactive sensory toys nailed on the kiddie wall were broken. I’ll come back when my son is old enough to know better than to put the things in his mouth. The items can be cleaned of this dirt with a little hard wiping. The employees were kind. But when we walked in I saw 2 sitting at different areas just looking at the ground. I know it’s a boring job but what’s the point of them being in there with nothing to do? It was just weird looking."
"We went to Great Explorations during our vacation to beat the heat one day. Overall it’s a cute place and was clean, however it needs a few improvements. It was way too crowded! They should consider only selling a certain amount of tickets during a 2 hour window time frame. We got there when it opened and within 20 minutes the place was packed. They also don’t have any accessories in each of the sections. For example, the vet and dentist had no tools. You can go on Amazon and purchase a pretend doctor kit for under $20. It won’t take much and the kids can actually PLAY. A few changes and the place will be awesome however based on the number of people in there I guess they are doing ok."
