"My daughter was having unusual episodes that I had been trying to get diagnosed for a few years. Was seen by several specialists but not a neurologist. I finally got the referral. It took the usual amount of time after the referral was sent that I received a voice mail with a few available opening times. When I tried to call back in hopes of booking appointment I had to leave a voice msg. It took a week and a few more phone calls before I was finally able book an appointment But from the moment I arrived at that first appointment the staff were all Welcoming and friendly. My daughter seen P.A. Quynh ! She is so patient, kind and thorough. She has seen my daughter through her initial assessment, in office eeg, 3 day ambulatory eeg and the visit for test result, that came back my daughter has epilepsy and was prescribed medication. My daughter had a longer than normal seizure and was seen in ER. ER staff called on call and Dr Renfroe called them back in a short amount of time and gave instructions on adjusting her medications. Another smaller episode occurred and I followed up with nurse and she called me back with no issues ! Small bump road with the initial appointment but great care has been provided since !"
"If i could give 0 stars, i would do it ten times over to SAVE other families from going through the PURE HELL we went through with this office. All the reviews are TRUE - Dr. Renfroe does not care about you or your child. He is mentally unstable. Do not question him or he will fire you as a patient. It was the best thing he ever did for my son. My son had a status seizure... 7 minutes long. TERRIFYING - he was 3.5 and had been going to this office since he was 7 months old. After countless calls to voicemail and nurses and FORCING myself on to his books through the office he NEVER CALLED ME BACK with any guidance on what was next.... 7 days later i saw him via telemedicine and he told me a eeg would not be necessary!?!?! Then he got into a screaming match with me hung up the phone and sent a certified letter that he would no longer see us knowing there are no other pediatric nuerologists within 200 miles . 1 month of seeing a new nuerologist 5.5 hours away we now have a REAL diagnosis stemming from genetic testing this office sat on for OVER A YEAR. Years wasted with this JOKE of an office"
"Very disappointed at the beginning everything was fine my son had an EEG so it can be determined what type of epilepsy he has we went almost 3 hrs to get the equipment did his test for 3 days at home returned the equipment another 3 hrs to the doctor they gave me the apt to read results nearly 2 months later the day of my appt again 3 hours to only arrive and them tell me the system was down….. i was advised i would get a call SAME DAY, to let me know the results its been a week now that i have called left voicemails and 3 times has the operator told me shes left notes on doctors desk i am still waiting to know my sons results VERY disappointing when you want to take action in your child's health but don't know where to start since you are back to square 1."
"Good luck getting them to answer the phone, let alone send out the samples for testing. They have been sitting on our daughter's swab sample for over a month now and have not sent it out for testing.... even though we told them at the appointment we would pay out of pocket if insurance would not cover the cost. Also, be prepared for a long wait with your child for an appointment. If I could give zero stars I would."
