"My elderly mother has been a patient of Dr. Sonia Smith for a few years now. The referral department needs FIRED! Each time a referral is requested, even by Dr. Smith, the referral NEVER gets processed! I have had to reschedule EVERY appointment my mother has had because we get to the appointment and there is no referral! Even after calling Dr. Smith's office and being assured that it has been sent to the doctor's office for the appointment. I have had to go to the office in person twice and demand the referral in my hand to take to the appointment myself 2 hours prior to the requested appointment. This is ridiculous! Someone isn't doing their job and because of it Dr. Smith will be losing patients. I'm looking for another primary care physician now. It should not take 2 + weeks time, 5 phone calls and a personal trip to the office to personally pick up the referral to hand deliver it to the appointment myself so that my mother can receive the health care services she needs!!! Total unacceptable customer service. It's a shame because Dr. Smith is a great doctor. Her office staff is severely lacking the basic ability to serve it's patients. Very unhappy at this point."
