"My wife and I plus our dog had a great visit. The staff was welcoming, the room was beyond perfect and the dining options kept us happy. I am disabled, able to walk but not far. Valet and staff were very accommodating with providing rides to and from the beach which really made the whole trip enjoyable. Usually its such a hassle for me to deal with but not here!! Hotel was quiet, we never heard anyone in the halls or beside us. It was the perfect vacation=)"
"I've stayed twice at this beautiful resort and loved every minute of it. The staff is always professional and cheerful, eager to help. The food and drinks are excellent. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. It is a bit of a walk to the beach, but not so far as to be tiresome. The resort sits across the street from the beach, so you're walking the length of the resort, across a small street and then down a block or so to get to where you can rent umbrellas and chairs. There are separate pools for adults and children, which is nice. The children's pool has a "lazy river" that's only 3' deep and fun for kids to float on. Destin is a great place to visit, always lots to do for both families and adults, from shopping, playing, eating, etc."
"We have stayed here multiple times over the years and love it! Typically we stay in the loft condos. Rooms are spacious and clean. Amenities are great (love the pools!) and everyone is very friendly. Food and drinks at all the restaurants/bars are AMAZING, especially the sushi at Primrose. Highly recommend staying here if you get the chance! Edit: added some photos. Also, huge shoutout to Raged, our server at Primrose. He was so friendly and funny and really went above and beyond for us."
"I will never come back here again. My husband and I booked treatments at the spa and planned to have lunch at the resort afterward. The massages were over priced. We paid extra for hot stones and they were used maybe 30% of the time (and even that is generous). They did take the hot stone addition off the final bill, but it was definitely an unmet expectation. The manicure and pedicure were just okay- nothing to write home about. The worst was the lunch that followed. They had one poor woman on the floor serving and working the bar at the same time. It took 45 minutes to get our food (through no fault of hers). The club sandwich was delicious, but there was a hair in the other half of the sandwich. Not a fun experience but it happens. The server offered to have it re-made but it took an additional 45+ minutes to get it to the table. My husband went to ask the hotel manager if there was any way to get help for the lone server in the restaurant (LITERALLY every table needed to be cleaned at one point). The manager of the hotel was aloof and unconcerned and told my husband she would call the kitchen to find out what was going on. What she could’ve and should’ve done was actually get up and help the poor server that was struggling with a restaurant full of people. This is the second time I’ve been here and had a bad experience and I won’t be coming back."
"I went for a couples massage. The price was $180 per person. The only “pros” I can outline is the valet parking that is comped due to spa visit if you don’t stay on site and my masseuse was friendly. Upon our arrival, we were taken back to each side’s dressing room. We were given your standard locker, robe and slippers. The robes are worn and need to be replaced. I dressed out and went into the wet area. The women’s jacuzzi was not working, I was not notified of this beforehand. I went into the lavender sauna and immediately noticed the tiles missing and rotting grout around a metal fixture (assuming this is part of a heating element). I decided to go to the waiting area. I was never offered a drink, my partner was offered champagne on the men’s side multiple times. I waited for my masseuse, who showed up to get me after the appointment time started. My masseuse had to find my partner and his masseuse, they were already in a single room. They brought us to the couple’s treatment room and started consults. The massage was good, but nothing special for the price. As our session came to a close I could hear my partner’s masseuse cleaning up. She finished his massage quite a few minutes before mine was done. This was distracting and also slightly annoying since we were late for our appointment. We didn’t receive a treatment for the time we paid for on our appointment which is disappointing. When we checked out there were auto gratuities and resort fees to the sum of around $70 tacked onto our total. I had already tipped both before we paid because I always leave a tip for service professionals. In my opinion the price was not worth it for the services received and amenities provided."
