"Just know that if you are a pregnant woman that had a health issue unrelated to your pregnancy and you have Dr. Mazyar Rouhani as a doctor he will just dismiss you and immediately transfer you to another hospital with an OB unit. I went in because I was having an asthma attack due to chronic bronchitis that was only figured out after I arrived at Palms West. Mind you I went to JFK at 3am in the morning a few days before because my coughing spells were worsening after coughing for 3 WEEKS with no other symptoms and at this point it was affecting my asthma very badly. A different doctor that day sent me home and told me to just take Tylenol for a COUGH. I have no fevers, no chills, tested negative for covid and pneumonia and all they could tell me is to take Tylenol. Fast forward to today where I am actually experiencing an asthma attack and this hospital is 7 minutes away from my home so I make the drive there to get some relief on my lungs. Dr Mazyar Rouhani tells me I should have went to a hospital with an OB unit and ignorantly told me that’s why I should have called 911 since I told him I was not able to drive 20 minutes away. Some folks are not fortunate enough to afford an ambulance ride so sorry if my first priority is to get my ASTHMA in check. Who even knows when an ambulance would have arrived when I could get myself to a hospital in less than 10 minutes. Horrible man, doctor, physician and needs to be humbled. Nurses were great though. All very nice and accommodating"
