Luigi's Coal Oven Pizza

"Best cheesesteak I ever had in Florida. The homemade potato chips were excellent. We sat at the bar in the service was excellent."

"I ordered the pear pasta which was quite expensive so I thought it would be really good. But it was drenched in very strong cream/cheese sauce that completely overpowered the delicate pear flavor (not even sure there was any pear in there). I left it only half eaten because it was just so rich. Service was okay — friendly but not attentive. And the bartender was rude and told someone loud enough for the whole bar to hear that she was tired and just ready to go home. Not a great vibe. Overall, just meh."

"We had the chicken milanese (without cheese due to dietary restrictions. No side included) and Jaime's specialty pizza. The chicken was a bit dry and judging by its color had been refried in old oil. The pizza had the perfect crust but I couldn't taste the gorgonzola. This place has a great reputation and our choice was maybe not judicious. I will give it another try."

"Luigi’s is probably one of the best places to eat pizza in the Fort Lauderdale area. Pizza was delicious and service was good. Parking is limited, but there is street parking that you have to pay for."

"Great location, food, and atmosphere. Lots of different pizza options to choose from, and non-pizza options as well. Good wings and calamari. They let you do half and half for the pizza toppings, which is great because it meant we could try lots of different flavors. We sat outside because it was a busy night, and there wasn’t too many bugs and wait staff were very responsive. Good experience overall. Limited parking, and usually a wait, but worth it for the quality and portions."
