"First of all, the staff weren’t the friendliest. The food was alright. They only sell meals so don’t expect to get an extra meat or soup on the side or they charge you full price. The chicken was cold, the rice was dry but it had flavour."
"I’m new to African food but when I say the food was soooo good. The August soup with chicken was amazing. I’m excited to try more. I forgot the cashiers name but she was so sweet, helpful, and patient with me being a newbie lol. I’ll be back again next week."
"Great traditional comfort food! Jollof rice, of course, snapper, Egusi and plantains. I bypassed the Fufu aka Swallows! Yams and Eba (Casava)."
"Firstly they have a great customer service. The staff is very helpful in terms of helping us understand each food items they have. However the food itself were horrible. The meat was very dry and tasteless. We got the soup as well and they were very bland too not much flavor. They were also a bit on the pricer end especially the food was not great. The place was very quiet and mostly people do take out. The place was also very clean too. But overall won’t be coming back again."
"The staff was very friendly and the location is very clean and welcoming. I got the jollof rice with meat. The meat and the sweet plantains were good but definitely some getting used to the aroma of the jollof rice. The flavor of the rice was like when you burn yellow rice so I am not fully sure if that the rice was burned or if that’s an intentional flavor. I was also served a lot of bone and fat instead of meat. But the meat that I did get was good and flavorful."
