"It’s a great restaurant to use as a venue for large gatherings with its prime location and large seating options. The food is most accurately describable as American-Italian cuisine. In my opinion, the menu is far too large to do any select few things well. The meat selections that are accompanied by pasta are proportioned generously, but leaves very little room for anything else. There isn’t much authenticity or quality in any item that I’ve tried. While it is passable and reasonable to serve in such portions, there is nothing to rave about. It’s very obvious that to dine there is to be seen there. The service is great. The speed of service is also great. I can always appreciate a generous serving of a glass of wine as well. For me, the atmosphere is a bit distasteful. It’s quite ostentatious, for par in this neighborhood. But I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone who has never tried Italian-American food or isn’t native to Boca."

"Went here with my mother and was extremely disappointed. We frequently go to Loc and Max's and decided to finally give Villagio a try. The service was terrible, the waiter never came around when our drinks were empty so we would have to ask other servers for help, when our food came the server never came around to ask if we needed anything, we had to again ask another waiter for Parmesan cheese for my mom's dish, they didn't even bring a spoon out for her spaghetti we had to ask for utensils. After all of that they double charged us for the meal. Will not be going here again."

"Atmosphere, decor and server were excellent. Appetizer (mozzarela fritta) was delicious. Alfredo pasta was perfect. The 8 small dry hard edged shrimp for additional $7.95 was totally not worth it. They were not freshly prepared but perhaps precooked then warmed again. Overall pleasant experience."
