"Been anxious to finally try La Capricciosa for a while now and DEFINITELY worth the wait. This fine restaurant live up to all the hype. It is excellent. Service is courteous and they make you feel at home as soon as you walk in. The dishes here bring you some nice flashbacks of Italy as the food is THAT good. We started with the Prosciutto e Arugula Pinsa which amazing. So many times I have had this pizza and the prosciutto used elsewhere makes a could be pizza sub par, but not here! The prosciutto was top shelf! For pasta we had Cacio e Pepe and the Pappardelle alla Tartufo. (Both dishes brought us back to Rome!). The fact it was Wine Wednesday was a bonus when glasses of wine were only $7! If you are in Fort Lauderdale area or staying in Lauderdale by the Sea, you need to have to try La Capricciosa! They will not disappoint!!!"

"A must try! It's a cute spot with the BEST pizza in Ft Lauderdale. I've actually never had a better crust anywhere and recommend the shredded mozzarella pizza. The first time I had it, it was cooked perfectly, yesterday the cheese was melted but I like a little browning on mine. One pizza can definitely feed two people. Our server Liz was welcoming, warm and on top of everything that we needed."

"After all the lovely reviews about La Capricciosa on Ocean Blvd, Lauderdale by the Sea, my sister and I chose to have her birthday lunch there. It was a lovely place that spoke to our Italian roots and did not disappoint. Lovely Liz was our waitress and is part owner. She was very attentive, accommodating and pleasant. We enjoyed the whole meal, then after a walk to Aruba’s and a short visit to take in the ocean views we went back to La Capricciosa for pistachio cake and cappuccino. I hear good things about dinner there so will try it sometime!"

"Terrible service and food. The owner served us herself. The appetizer had bread pieces that were completely burned. I explicitly asked for my pizza to not have a burned crust and she ensured that it won't be at all! See the picture. The food in the picture is what I got. When I raised concern, she said this is authentic pizza. May be so, but then why did you ensure me that the crust is not going to be burned? She was extremely rude and did not refund us for the food and no signs of apology. Don't get fooled by the OK atmosphere. If you like good food and good service this is not the place."

"Went for the first time when a foodie friend headed down and we both agreed - AMAZING!!! From the ambiance, to the service and prices but especially the food. The octopus was to die for, best I have ever tasted. Thank you to Liz & Enza for the great recommendations of wine and pasta choice, definitely will be my go to."
