"I had such a great time in one of the classes I took here at The Artzy Mermaid. Classes offered range from working with resin to painting. In the class I sat for, we made a sea turtle resin framed piece. I want to go back and do the cutting board project next. Rene, the owner/teacher, is super sweet and very talented. She helped us work through the steps while making sure we had everything we needed along the way. Everything was set up neatly and ready to go when we got there. She has a smorgasbord of seashells, sea glass, sand, rocks, gems, starfish, mermaid tails, and other various sea treasures to work with. It's a sea lover's dream. I highly recommend this place to anyone that loves anything and everything beach or sea themed (shells, mermaids, sea turtles, starfish, etc). You can create the perfect piece for your house using things she has on hand or things you bring from your own beach excursions. Her classes are great for families looking to do something fun together, a girl's night, birthday parties (kids and adults), etc. The classes are held in the back of her store where she sells all sorts of beach themed items and treasures. It's the perfect spot to get souvenirs or gifts for people. I look forward to going back again for another class and to buy some Christmas gifts for my friends living in the colder climate."

"I had the most “Mer-Mazing” experience of crafting at this delightful boutique shop! Owners Rene & Robert are very charming and dedicated to creativity. Front of store is a colorful coastal retail area followed by a workshop where all the fun happens. Group classes of all ages and any occasion parties are offered in a variety of themes plus there’s even a slushy machine! My friends and I had a great time as we marveled at our finished framed resin art. I’m excited to return for our next project!"
