"If old school cool is your thing, head on over to Jon Smith Subs! I’ve lived in South Florida my entire life and I have never been here! It’s ironic that I no longer live in South Florida and the first time I try it is when I’m in my way out of town (LOL)! Honestly, I feel like I’ve cheated myself out of one of the best tasting subs all these years!! Everything tasted so fresh and delicious, I typically skip tomatoes when I order from Jimmy John’s or Publix but THESE tomatoes were so dang good! Next time I’m in town, we’re coming back and I’m definitely ordering a steak and cheese!"

"I tried this location on the advice of a family member who said it was "amazing" unfortunately that raised my expectations too high. The subs were good, but they were not life-changing. I had the gator, which had a mix of meats, kielbasa, chicken and steak. They all had good flavor, but I expected more. The service was good though, and prompt. The person at the front counter was pleasant to talk to. My kids like it, so it worked out."

"Jon Smith Subs on the northwest corner of the intersection of US 1 and Southern Boulevard in West Palm Beach serves up delicious subs to suit nearly every taste. It is a good sign that the friendly folks who work there have regulars who call out their names in greeting as they come through the door. My friend and I enjoy carry-out subs from Jon Smith Subs, and we always get the same order: tuna with jalapeño peppers for my friend, steak and cheese for me, plus a medium sized order of fries to share. My friend digs into the fries before we even leave the parking lot. They are still so hot from the fryer that I joke I’ll burn my teeth if I eat any that soon. They are so good that maybe we need to start ordering the large size. The fries and my sandwich are still warm when we get to my friend’s office, and the tuna salad in the sub is still cool. I get a few sliced jalapeños to slip in between the steak carvings on my sub. Yum! If you arrive at Jon Smith Subs during lunchtime, didn’t despair over the lack of parking. There’s a fast turnover here with lots of folks getting To Go orders. A full parking lot here can empty in a matter of minutes and immediately begin filling as a fresh wave of patrons from all industries come to enjoy a lunch in or as take out."

"Not bad but disappointed with the steak hype, kinda fell flat. Per other reviews, killer bread. The fries were not special or different in anyway. All in all not a bad meal just was expecting something more."
