The Circle

"The Breakers is a renown hotel dating from the Gilded Age and one of the first luxury resorts in Florida…with the later addition of The Circle restaurant being one of the more famous dining experiences. In the area, we decided to give it a go for breakfast, just for the experience alone. This is a very posh locale with prices to match so be prepared. The hotel, and the room itself, are truly beautiful and worth a visit, with the menu offering all the classics you’d expect. While there are a number of a la carte items the goal is to get you to select the buffet. After much debate we elected to jointly try the buffet, each opting for their own unique choices. Our potpourri of items included a chia pudding, mixed berries, a sausage and biscuit with gravy, a very large veggie omelet, an assortment of pastries, smoked salmon with cream cheese, and scrambled eggs with bacon. Everything was good but in keeping with a buffet, so it was pre-made (other than the omelet which then did to my specifications). In addition, I ordered a hot chocolate (which was very good) and a coffee (which was ok; a bit on the bitter side). Service was very good with a charming waiter who took good care of us. If you are in the area and don’t mind spending a few extra bucks for the experience, then give The Breakers a try. Enjoy!"

"This was a difficult review to write - the atmosphere beautiful the service was top notch… the food was delicious - my biggest question is value for money - that’s out for debate - would I do this brunch again at this price point (or higher)… likely not… but would I recommend someone to do it once, the answer is yes… but with an “asterisk”"

Requesting caviar served in a delicate ramekin was a stroke of genius, a pure burst of luxury on the palate. As we reveled in the experience, we effortlessly savored 12 ounces of caviar, a testament to the brunch's extravagance. The offerings were a medley of delights - succulent lobster, regal king crab legs, and the artistry of the carving station showcased through prime rib and ham. The pate exuded elegance, while the pea risotto transported us to culinary nirvana. Oysters satisfied our cravings for the sea's treasures, and the lamb chops and pea risotto left an indelible mark of flavor. The dessert spread was a mesmerizing masterpiece, a harmonious blend meticulously crafted by a team of pastry chef virtuosos. A rendezvous with decadence and a tapestry of tastes, The Circle Brunch was nothing short of a grand gastronomic journey. Yes it’s an expensive brunch but worth every penny!"

"We went with our girlfriends for brunch and it was really a great experience. Service was fast, food was amazing. The buffet had literally everything we wanted , caviar, lobster, champagne , egg Benedict , really nice sweets. And the ambience was superb. Definitely will come back here again."

"We enjoyed breakfast at this fantastic buffet on a Saturday morning. The cost was a bit more than we like to pay, but we splurged for a special occasion. Our experience was so good that we want to come back on a regular occasion. We loved the setting inside The Breakers, with windows where diners could observe real waves from the Atlantic breaking on their way onto the beach outside. It wasn't that busy this morning when we arrived and we found free parking in the self-park lot that Breakers has. I liked that they offered self and valet options. We were fortunate to get a table by one of the windows. Everything we chose from the buffet counters was so delicious. The omelet station chef made mine with smoked salmon and broccoli and was the best anywhere. The other choices were traditional breakfast favorites, pancakes, yogurt, fruit, bacon, sausages, potatoes etc. Seafood lovers might consider the Sunday buffet, which has a great reputation, but is out of our price range. Service was excellent, as our waiter checked with us from time to time. All in all, we had a most memorable experience and delicious meal this morning at The Circle."
