"Finally, I got around to having time to go as their hours of service aren't the most consumer friendly. I went, and the restaurant is hidden in a plaza small place. It was cozy and had a nice vibe. Usually, you'd see some females working the front but were 2 guys, and although different, they were ok dudes. I ended up buying a few appetizers to go cause seating was not possible cause lunch time. I figured well food must be the bomb? Thank God cause finding great PR food in South Florida has been horrible. Wrong. It was just ok. Alcapurrias have the strangest long shape and are soaked and retain oil, and the meat isn't seasoned it's just like burger meat? There's a difference between pastelillos and empanadas to a PR one is yellow shell and empanandas has white shell, well to present anyway. Here, I ordered shrimp patelillo and crab pastelillo. The shrimp, although had a few shrimp, was just bathed in sazon and the crab was not pastelillo it was an empanada, and crab meat had zero seasoning At the end when I paid for it was like 20 bucks for that with a soda? After purchasing at end 2 pastry and a soda, it ended up almost 30 bucks? No way is it worth what I paid? Anyway, onward to finding hopefully a better place, if not, will have to wait to go back to PRor New York for good PR food"
"Very family oriented. Employees were courteous, attentive and very nice. Food was great. We ordered breakfast (Ham, cheese, egg sandwich). Took home sancocho, alcapurrias, Mavi, tornillos, quesitos and pastelillo de guayaba. Everything was awesome !"
"The food is so well made, our server was very friendly and they have an extensive traditional menu, I got many different items and I felt in love with every single one."
"Where do I start, Today I took my Mother and Aunt to try this hidden treasure and I must say it was delicious, The food was great the staff was amazing. They made us feel so welcome I felt like family. They have a great selection of food and dessert. My Aunt is a picky person when it comes to going out and eating in small places but I have to tell you its small but they are big at heart, You won't be disappointed. The next time you're in Florida visit PR Bakery By Diana. The family that owns this place are amazing everyone that walked in felt like family. They have items to sell and Puerto Rican gadgets a must see location, We will be returning soon."
