"Probably the cleanest hooks in town. They have grits which is a great plus. The only thing was the owners' desire to see credit cards when ordered online and coming in for pickup. Not everyone keeps their cards on hand as it's saved in the phones and sometimes the numbers are scrambled online for theft protection. So asking for cards when people already paid for them on doesn't make sense (owner claims it's to make sure the right people are picking up the order but you do that by checking ID nit credit card). That's the only reason I havw stopped coming here because I want to be able to order online and pick up with my ID and not hand out my physical credit card to anyone (the main reason to order online was to avoid these physical interactions) other than that, super sweet people l. Great quality fried foods. Love their lunch specials too. Great local fried seafood destination!"

"Food was very good, seemed fresh, and cooked well. Staff was very friendly, restaurant was clean and tidy. Dining in, the food took quite a while to come out, but was hot. Had the tartar sauce been homemade, I could have given 5 stars... but little packets of tartar... definitely missing an opportunity to shine."

"First time in the area from Oklahoma and HOOK and FISH DID NOT DISAPPOINT! The food was fresh. The oil that they used was fresh and we didn't eat until 7:30. The chicken was seasoned to the bone! The shrimp and fish was perfection. Whatever seasoning they use is perfection! You can taste the love in the food!! Makes you feel like you had food from your own Great Aunty!! We ate in the restaurant. The only downside it was quite warm inside of the restaurant. Besides that, there aren't any complaints."

"I'm visiting WPB and wanted to try somewhere local. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is really well kept. We got shrimp, grouper, perch, chicken, and sweet chili shrimp - everyone really enjoyed their meals."
