"Ocoee High School was the first to give their students laptops and it has been a wonderful success. All of Ocoee's students have all kinds of helpful information at the tip of their fingers. Ocoee High has improved in their academic performance and as a school as a whole because of their technological advancement over every other high school"
"This is my opinion but I honestly do not like Ocoee...Having computers is confusing turning things in on my different sites... Students are rude, Some teachers really don't care if you fail or pass. To me the school in general is just bad....I am so ready to leave this school... I really hoping that my parents will let me go to a different school next year."
"I was a student at Ocoee High school during the 2005 - 2007 school year. I did not think my transition would have been smooth as the years prior to this, I attended Apopka High School for their Medical Magnet Program and they rezoned us to West Orange High School. I absolutely loved Ocoee - many thanks to several teachers such as Dawn Petch, Chandele Garrison, Karen Moore, Carla Newberry and Ms. DeAraujo *(spelling). These women were absolutely fabulous in how they taught us and they honestly cared about their students. Personally, they assisted in developing me into the woman I am today by constantly challenging me to become better than who I was, implement a vision and plan for the future as well discover my purpose and passion in life. Those small investments made a significant difference in my life. My experience was nothing short of positive and my junior and senior year of high school were truly wonderful. Mr. Armbruster wasn't too shabby either! Awesome principal."
"Ocoees teachers suck!!! All they do is put assignments on a website and tell us to do the work. Now that we have computers. It is harder to do our work. All of our assignments have to be turned in through different websites and its just too much and confusing and its messing up my grades."
