"In the heart of a world gone mad, where the streets are paved with culinary landmines, Mole Cantina Mexicana stands as a fortress of sanity, a beacon of hope in the gastronomic wasteland. The bartenders, those alchemists of the spirit, fling drinks with a swiftness that defies the laws of physics, their smiles a potent brew in themselves, promising nights of revelry and abandon. I've descended into this den of delights more times than a politician's lies, each visit a journey through a landscape so rich and vivid it could make a grown man weep. The guacamole, a green dream whipped up by the hands of angels, the Baja fish tacos, a maritime odyssey in a tortilla. Empanadas, those golden parcels of joy, burst at the seams with secrets too delicious to keep, while fajitas hiss and sizzle like the last word in an argument you've won. And the enchilada del mole poblano? A dark, seductive riddle wrapped in an enigma, smothered in sauce. Here, service isn't just a concept; it's a high-wire act, performed with the grace of a seasoned acrobat, all smiles and efficiency, at prices that won't have you pawning your grandmother's silver. But beware, fellow travelers, for when the shadows grow long and the masses hunger for more than just sustenance, this oasis becomes a carnival of souls. To avoid being swept away in the tide, secure your spot when the moon is high, and the stars align. The happy hour at the bar is a treasure trove of delights, a clandestine rendezvous for the thirsty and the famished. From the stroke of noon till the seventh hour, the libations flow like a river of joy, while from four to seven, select dishes emerge like rare jewels, each a testament to the art of the deal and the pleasure of the palate. So, to Mole Cantina Mexicana, I raise my glass, my hat, my very soul in salute. In this maelstrom we call life, you are the port in the storm, the light in the darkness, a haven of flavor in a sea of mediocrity. Here's to many more nights of culinary debauchery, my friends. The revolution may not be televised, but it will most certainly be catered."
"Why doesn’t this restaurant have 5 stars ? The food is delicious and very authentic ! Husband and I enjoyed the tail end of the happy hour with some margaritas for $7 I had the hibiscus it was really good and strong , the HH guacamole which was fantastic as well but the star of the show were the beef flautas OMG melt in your mouth fried tortillas with soft shredded beef without feeling greasy at all . It was Friday night the place was packed , the music wa great , the Mariachis were the stars of the show and the service by Alex was amazing . We are definitely heading back !!!!"
"The food was delicious.5/5 Hot and nicely presented. The server was knowledgeable and diligent. The atmosphere was good but the music is louder than it needs to be. Drinks were 3/5 could have been better We were served within 20 minutes of arriving. The entrees came out quickly. Well seasoned and good quality steak and shrimp for my fajitas. 4/5 would.try it again"
"We came in on a Tuesday for taco Tuesday and their specials were (2 soft tacos for $8). I would say about 5 different options were on there but it included the tacos no one really orders lol. Didn’t have much variety like hard shells or not. The tacos were okay. They did have a lot of meat but that’s about it. Lacked something fresh or acidic to make it a complete taco. Just had a dash of onions and cilantro on it. Ordered the flan which was super tasty. Then I noticed a fly on my flan and told the server , she then picked it out and was handing it back to me. I told her I’m not eating that, I need a new one and she looked at me like I was the one who placed the fly there. No drink specials either for taco Tuesday. Overall , dead vibe and basic food. Wouldn’t return. Definitely underwhelmed."
"Amazing experience starting with our guacamole being made fresh at the table and the Mariachi band playing live. Large portions and well seasoned food. I wish the tables were bigger but we had a great time."
