"Can’t give a full true review because I wasn’t even able to be assisted. No matter what legitimate reasoning was given the lady at the front desk with black hair was just snarky and rude and flat out denied my request for help. I was sick last week and was told to go home from my boss at work. I did so and rested the rest of the day. Little did I know that an exam had creeped up on the calendar and I missed it. Even if I had known I wouldn’t have been in the condition to go to the exam. Her excuse for not even hearing anything out was that I never came and saw them or set up an appointment that day. The test was just after noon and I went home to rest 11 am. So you are telling me I’m going to make a special last minute 40 minute drive trip up to see the university doctor when I’m sneezing coughing and tired and just wanting to rest. There was no need for a doctor, I knew what I had is just a common bug going around the office. I’ll stop my rant here. Was she in the right? Maybe I am sure I could’ve handled getting in touch with them better. I’ve never needed student health services in my 3 years going to FGCU so it did not cross my mind. The point I’m making is the first time I did need them they basically told me too bad. I work more than most of my fellow students I come across, and I’m in a very large business environment. There is a ton more grace and common sense in an actual work environment then there is in a stupid college health services building. Completely rude and wrong way to talk to someone just wanting some help. Especially when it’s their first time being there ever, nice 1st impression."

"The doctors are so nice and so helpful, BUT the lady with the black hair is so rude at the front desk she is not nice doesn’t say please or thank you i don’t even think she looked at me. I said thank you to her and she didn’t say anything back I wanted to say thank you again but I didn’t want to be rude to her but hello! Its your job to be nice and helpful! When I walked in she didn’t look at me and when I walked up to her because the other ladies where signaling for me to go to the black haired lady. She just looked at me and didn’t say anything so I said Hi I have an appt. She said “name” so I said my name and then she said can I see your student Id and I showed her and she said you can have a seat and I said thank you and she didn’t say anything. It really seems like she has no interest in her job minimal effort."

"Dr. Winslow is great at what he does. I sprained my ankle pretty bad and got a free wrap and made sure nothing was fractured. X-rays are really cheap if I needed it I was told. Meds are cheap or free. Everyone cares a lot here. My visit was free but could have been costly if I went anywhere else. Thank you to Dr. Winslow and staff!"

"Absolutely outstanding medical care and kindness! My daughter came in for a COVID test and they were extraordinary! With underlying health issues, I was concerned about how she was going to manage with me many states away. The doctor and staff were not only professional but incredibly kind and helped her tremendously! Thank you so much!!!"

"I’m honestly sad because I wish I could go here the rest of my life. My nurse joked today that I come back every year, at this time of the year, for the same cold- and that she would see me next year. As I graduate this coming Spring, it really made me sad that I probably won’t be back to see her. These nurses are the absolute BEST. Bar none. I’ve never met a more compassionate, considerate, or thorough group of medical professionals ever. They take their time to explain the method of care they plan for you so you actually understand what, why, and how you need to take care of yourself following your visit. They are so non-judgemental, it almost feels like you’re talking to a close friend. I have never had a better experience at a doctors office than I have coming here. Thank you to everyone. From the front desk to the nurses. You are all amazing, and I appreciate you all. Thank you, thank you, thank you!"
