"I have eaten at this spot a lot of times over the last 4 years, since relocating to Florida. I have been a Sarku customer for about 12 years now, mostly in Raleigh NC. I truly have to say that my experience here on October 30, 2023, was the worst I have ever had. I was one of 4 people waiting, and waiting, and waiting for our food. In past experience I do not think it has every taken more than 5 - 7 minutes for a batch of chicken to cook on the grill, but these guys took FOREVER. The 3 dudes behind the grill, as well as the 2 females, stood around and talked, and talked and then talked some more. To be fair, at least the "cook" was shifting the meat around and flipping it over time and again, but it was just getting more done as he did it. I complained vocally that it was taking much too long to get this done. We waited almost 20 minutes for a job that should have taken no more than 7 or 8 at the most. 1 lady even told them that they were cooking her food to well done, and they just ignored us. Suffice it to say, I do not know if I will ever return to this location, and if I do, it might be a cold day in he** when that happens. I will go out of my way to go to the location at Citrus Park as opposed to Brandon. Better yet, I will not go there at all. I will stick to driving back to Lakeland and eat at Teppan Express at the Lakeland Mall. At least they give you your yumyum sauce for FREE!"

"The food was decent, but the staff made a mess of our plate and refused to fix anything. They use Yum Yum sauce as salad dressing. We tried to explain that we don't eat Yum Yum sauce, so they tossed the salad and put vegetables into the Yum Yum sauce. We ate what we could, but the menu is deceptive. Staff is somewhat rude."

"Husband and I both got a Chicken Teriyaki Bento. Very hot and fresh tasting. Reasonable prices. A lot of food for the money. We could have probably shared. Would recommend."

"Love the Teriyaki Chicken with fried rice. Large portions, fast, and affordable. Only real reason we go to Brandon Mall, besides 2-3 small shops we like. Only drawback we have is, the soda's are expensive and usually taste bad."
