Spring Valley School

Spring Valley School, located at 2109 Nebraska Avenue in Palm Harbor, Florida, is a unique secondary school that offers students the best of freedom and structure. Founded in 1997 and modeled after Sudbury Valley School in Massachusetts, Spring Valley School provides a democratic environment where students ages 4-19 are encouraged to take responsibility for their own learning.

At Spring Valley School, there are no mandatory classes or set curriculum. Instead, students have the freedom to explore their passions and interests while developing a deep sense of personal and social responsibility. All School Meeting members have an equal vote in creating the rules of the school, fostering a sense of community and collaboration.
