"The bullying at this school is absolutely preposterous! There are fights over all everyday, and the kids here have not a bit of respect! You cannot ever learn because some kid has to disturb the whole class. One day I was walking through a class after testing not hurting a soul, and got screamed at with absolutely inappropriate and inapplicable words, such as "squid ward" as I have a slightly bigger nose than usual! I have since reported the incident and the gentlemen that spoke such disrespectful words had not gotten in trouble! I do not recommend sending your child here! This school is no place for a child to get the education they need to be successful in life! I will assure you as a sixth grade student I will not attend this school next year! 5/21/18"
"This school is garbage. I gave it two stars because there has been a few positives. My daughter has been an honors student ever since she started 1st grade. She has been tested every year up to 5th grade to see where she excels. She has been to Pasco County schools and Polk County schools. This school is terrible. She is in infinity, their honors program. Your child has better chances of doing school at home online if you want them to excel. My daughter has been an A & B student with rarely a C her entire school history until she started Paul R Smith's Infinity program. Now she is a C average student. It is very heart breaking and frustrating knowing she isn't doing as well as we know she can. The teachers don't teach often. They literally call it "live lessons" that is when the teacher actually gets off her butt and teaches the kids. Mainly the work is done on their assigned laptops the program provides for them. They have to take notes at an extreme level. Were talking normal kids get textbooks and can have the information and highlight and take further notes, the Infinity kids have to write down what they should be allowed to print. It is ALOT of information if you want to be able to learn and pass. You have to do a lesson and/or test inside of one class visit and there is no time to take correct notes to be able to do the lesson in proper time. Lets talk about math. The pictures I posted was a math question. I have no idea the word "left" is a color. The program isn't even done correctly. The second photo is a personal picture I decided to share because I thought this was important. This is my child telling me why she is doing so poorly in math. I cried reading this. Its pathetic. Her teacher has 1 job and that is to teach. She cant even do that! As a child to not understand something their duty is to ask how. My daughter did. The teacher who is responsible for teaching my child the correct way will only demonstrate one time and then run her mouth and stop. Proper notes (which I explained above how much you have to write) or not that was the teachers responsibility to help my daughter until she fully understood it. It was not interfering with class time. The teacher literally sits on her a** on her computer most of the day. The food is ridiculous! These are growing kids who are going through puberty and they get a cheese stick and graham crackers. They are provided with milk and juice which is just loaded with sugar and not given the chance to chose a water instead. They have to pay for a water bottle. This is the most ridiculous thing. School buses- the beginning of year and towards the middle my child was being forced to ride with high school students. Just one day out of no where she was 20 minutes late coming home. Can you imagine the panic? All because the bus decided to pick up high school students. This isn't just a one day thing. A 6th grader is 11 years old now being forced on a bus with students who could be as old as 19 years old. The first couple of days my daughter was telling me that the older kids would yell at the younger kids constantly how they are so annoying and say the meanest things to them. They don't deserve to be bullied because the school cant simply have a proper bus for the high school students. I also found out ( thankfully this NEVER happened to my child ) the high schoolers made a thing called "slap a** Friday" where they would go around slapping the butt's of other students. My nephew has seen this happen and he's in 8th grade! If I was financially able and had the time to do school choice, my daughter would not attend this crappy school or Anclote High School which looks like a prison."
"Im a student here and I can Definitly say this school is far from the worse. This school offers many different learning opportunities to better the education of student which includes Infinity academy a blended learning program best of them all, Cambride, avid, advanced and honors. This school is amazing and teacher care and allow you to take control over your learning review writers please take a second to think about the school and how it really is compared to how you think it is. Any issue is always handled in an appropriate manner and wants everyone to be together with that being said. Im proud to be an eagle and i hope you are too!"
"My daughter is currently attending 8th grade at Paul R. She is a member of the Cambridge program and absolutely loves it! Every day my baby excitedly tells me about something she has learned, or some awesome project they are doing. According to her all of her teachers are nice and she couldn’t be happier. The principal is a very friendly, approachable man, and the staff in the office are as sweet as pie. I am extremely happy with my decision to transfer her to this A+ school."
