"Final straw! As a former restaurant owner, I would never serve a customer a burnt piece of meat. I ordered two meals and the turkey wings were burnt on both. The gravy was also salty which made the sides salty as well. A total waste of money!!!"
"The open cafe Amabiance -d Ok given the current pandemic..i know most restaurant are opting for togo..but still...the place should look and feel welcoming as well as clean. This had a very grungy dark abondon warehouse feel to it. Every looked disorganized and out right raggedy. Service....C Food took 20 minutes to get......it was only me and another gentleman their waiting....also the service and appearance of the staff was as if they woke up, and put on clothes as if they were going to do some outside work. Not rude but not professional Appeal of food C+ Food looks ok, nothing glaring or standing outt....toast was a little darker than I would have liked. Pork chop fried a little to hard. But the grits had a nice smooth and buttery look. And my eggs with cheese were cooked correct and exactly how they should be cooked. Taste-C+ Grits had a nice flavor...butter really came through, but were slightly undercooked.....a lil grainy. The toast was buttered and did its. Job as the toast, the homefries were nothing to write home about...I was told hand cut potatoes...but recieved frozen diced potatoes that were deep fried. Not really homefries. The eggs were dry..like dry dry. The pork chop had a nice battter and lite seasoning....very good. But the star of this show was the fried chicken. You can taste it was marinaded TLC. Nicely seasoned and juicy...........awesome! Value-b 12 bucks for drink, pork chop, whole chicken wing, grits, homefries, eggs and toast. Overall-c They have work to do to improve....but if they can put the love into the building and service like they did the chicken.....they can grow."
"1st time ordering there. Hands down best Soul food ever! Customer service was amazing! They are so sweet and helpful. The Corn bread is delish the Chicken was so well cooked it fell off the bone! Seasoned to perfection. If i could do 10 stars I would. Definitely coming back. I literally had to stop my self from eating all of it to take the picture! lol"
"Had a church member take me here on a whim. Thought it was new, but the locals been smashing on this for YEARS. A little high, but whoever cooks this food put their damn FOOT in this food! You should if it's a LINE of black folks out of the door, you're gonna eat GOOD"
"One of my favorite Tampa restaurants! The food is absolutely the closest thing I've ever had to my grandma's cooking. The staff is so friendly and the portion sizes are perfect!! The best catfish I've had since moving here from Chicago! (Catfish nuggets pictured)"
