"Well, we really wanted to like it, but sadly they fell a little short. The menu is vast, and covers a lot of ground- so lots of people can find stuff they like, and I think the size of the menu impacts the quality of the dishes. We had the Ahi tuna appetizer, which was best described as not very inspiring. Sauce was bland, but the presentation was beautiful. The Tom kha soup was the winner of the night/ with a flavorful broth that was packed full of ingredients. This dish I recommend. Tried the Big Hut Sushi Stack, and this is another one that was tasty and constructed nicely. The cucumbers were sliced too large to eat with the rest of the dish, and the onions were way overpowering. I would rate this a 4 out of 5. Good quality ingredients, but just missing a little. For sushi, they only have Tuna, Salmon and Eel served as sashimi or in rolls; interestingly, they do not serve any nigiri, so this really isn’t a sushi restaurant. Fried rice was a large portion that was good, but not great. Thai iced tea was also nice and enjoyable. They are close, perhaps if they shrank the menu, they would be able to make some memorable dishes"

"The food here is expertly prepared and impossibly good at these prices. All executed by a hard working and amiable staff. Service may appear a little crazy at first, but it's organized chaos. "Hawkers had a long line so we walked down the road to this place, so glad we did ! Food here was phenomenal !! Everything was absolutely delicious and I will be coming back. Their ramen broth was perfect. The sushi was fresh and good portion sizes. Friendly staff. Not a single negative thing to say. Excited to eat here again !!"

"We absolutely love Pin On Cafe! The food is delicious and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend the lunch special. The vibe is very casual, and the parking situation can be a little challenging, but it’s worth it! Some of the best Onigiri I’ve ever had, plus it’s served with a side of Spicy Mayo - yum!!"

"The entire reason we visited this eatery was to try their onigiri. We have been craving onigiri ever since we left Hawaii, and we were hoping that Pin On Cafe could scratch our itch. We were extremely let down to say the least, and blown away by the fact that they have such great reviews. The restaurant itself is extremely drab. It looked like it used to be an old Italian restaurant, and the establishment was very dingy on the inside. We began our dining experience by ordering a blue pineapple fresh fruit soda, and a plum wine. The blue pineapple soda was good, but extremely sweet. The sweetness was cut down when the ice melted, and then it was a nice drink. The plum wine was awful, we were not even sure what it was. Definitely not plum wine, just some cheaply flavored beverage. Then came our onigiri. We tried the pickled cucumber and red cabbage, seaweed salad and edamame, spicy tuna, and spicy shrimp. Each and every onigiri severely struggled with its rice to filling ratio. Some had almost no filling, but most had about a pinch of filling. The spicy tuna sadly was extremely fishy, and the spicy shrimp had a texture that was comparable to a rubber band. The rice itself was completely flavorless. Clearly not seasoned at all. The saving grace of our meal was the pork yaki udon. The dish was delightful. Pristinely seasoned and the noodles were cooked to perfection. Our waitress, Sandra, was absolutely fantastic. Very kind and helpful. If it weren’t for the yaki udon and our lovely waitress, this experience would have been an absolute flop. It is sad that the onigiri was so awful, especially because it was frequently mentioned as a “must try” at this restaurant. The lack of fresh ingredients deters us from wanting to try Pin On Cafe again."
