"Ventured into Mama Pearls for the first time today, and it's a visit I wish I had made sooner. Mama Pearls offers a tantalizing selection of options, whether you prefer the buffet-style abundance or the refined à la carte offerings. Renowned for their baked goods, particularly the heavenly banana bread, Mama Pearls lived up to its reputation in every way. The service matched the excellence of the cuisine. Stepping into Mama Pearls felt like entering the home of a beloved relative (if said relative happened to be a culinary virtuoso), exuding warmth and hospitality. The owner, equally kind and gracious, added to the welcoming atmosphere. To our delight, the Chef treated us to her latest creation - savory sweet muffins, brimming with succulence and featuring a delightful runny yolk center. Paired with samples of irresistible banana nut bread, it took considerable willpower not to devour an entire loaf on the spot. Opting for the buffet, we were treated to a cornucopia of delights - from cheesy eggs and creamy, savory shrimp and grits to perfectly crafted eggs benedict, crispy bacon, savory sausage patties, fluffy waffles, and decadent pancakes. The toppings for the waffles and pancakes were a revelation, with warm apples adding a touch of culinary magic. The Chef even offered whipped cream for the pancakes, adding a delightful finishing touch. Yet, the pinnacle of the experience was undeniably the biscuits smothered in the most heavenly sausage gravy imaginable. Each spoonful was a symphony of flavor, evoking pure culinary bliss - exactly what my soul craved on a cold and rainy Florida day. We weren't alone in our admiration for Mama Pearls. As patrons departed, compliments echoed throughout the cozy atmosphere, with everyone singing praises for the talented chef and her culinary creations. And of course, the gravy - a topic of unanimous acclaim. Without a doubt, Mama Pearls has secured a place in my heart, and I eagerly anticipate returning for another unforgettable meal."

"The food is amazing, especially the chorizo gravy n biscuits as well as waffles with cooked apples. Great place to sit down and eat or grab a to go order. Can't forget about the amazing dessert breads as well!"

"A Pearl, indeed! My wife and I were welcomed warmly by the owner, who was friendly and engaging while taking us through the menu options. We pulled the trigger on the buffet, which was fantastic - every item on each of our plates we found to be delicious. Bright, cheery, and fresh atmosphere that was uplifting. We also purchased to take home the banana walnut bread which we were offered a sample of. Cannot wait to have more of that in the next few days!"

"Went to a new breakfast spot in Gulfport that had very good service. I had the grilled veggies, egg and cheese on an English muffin which was delicious. Just wished the English muffin was crisper. My nephew had the all you can eat buffet. It had a good selection of food."

"Didn’t have the “all you can eat” breakfast yet, but it looked good. It had biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage and bacon, etc. I got a loaf of banana nut bread with walnuts…it was delicious! I ate some on my walk and then kept enjoying it all week. They have one lunch special item if that’s what you’re into. This small business makes everything from scratch and is such a lovely addition to the Gulfport neighborhood."
