"We hadn’t been since pre-COVID and change of ownership but happy to report it’s still pretty good AYCE sushi. Order off menu, rolls are decent sized, nigiri and sashimi is a bit small (but hey just order more?). Quality was as expected for AYCE, the rice in our first order was a bit dry so rolls fell apart but second order seemed to be a fresher batch of rice. Service is good. Place is clean. Extensive Chinese menu for non-sushi folk (though they probably won’t let you do AYCE if not everyone at the table does)."

"Recently, during the month of December 2023, I had ordered chicken and rice soup. It was the worst chicken and rice soup that I had ever tasted. As a military retiree, and have traveled all over the world this soup just didn’t meet my standard of deliciousness. The rice was mushy and soggy. The chicken tasted old. The “crunchies”that, they give you for soup was completely stale! After a couple of days from recovering from an illness, and as a regular customer, I returned the soup in hopes that the restaurant would give me a chicken noodle soup in place of the chicken and rice soup. In my previous experiences, I would order their chicken noodle soup or just the broth to help to advance my wellness and make me feel better. This particular time, I decided to try a different soup. So, when I bought the chicken and rice soup back to the restaurant to swap for the chicken noodle soup, I even offered to pay the difference between the soups. The lady that worked at the front desk had a very nasty and unprofessional attitude with me which became out of control and unnecessary! I ask for her name and she hesitated before swiftly uttering her name to me knowing that I could not pronounce her name much less spell her name. I asked for the manager and of course there was no manager available. I asked for the name of her manager and she stated, “Sunny.” Of course she did not give me any more information like when will the manager be available? All of this over a bowl of soup? Are you kidding me? Due to the wicked treatment I received for a bowl of soup, I will not patronize this business ever again! I will pass on to my military family and friends this horrific, unforgettable racist experience that I endured once again from this establishment and from the same older lady that works at the register and places your order(s). Never Again. G."

"Finally a good takeout Chinese restaurant. They are hard to come by but summer palace is great! Not only do they have good takeout but they have delicious sushi. I was surprised to walk in and find they have a cute dinning room as well. I think I’ll eat there next time. The staff was super friendly as well! The price and quality is awesome, I’ll be back!"
