"The magnetic allure of these flavors prompted me to create a second Google email account, crafting yet another love letter for the extraordinary cuisine. Embarking on the culinary odyssey of 2024 with my first meal, guided by the culinary virtuoso Chef Tiger Tang, I encountered a masterpiece – the Chengdu Crispy Duck (3 Course). Despite my unwavering love for Trinidadian curry duck and roti, this three-course revelation reshaped my culinary landscape. The symphony of flavors unfolded with the visually enticing first course, a sweet duck dish, followed by a savory exploration into the realm of salty duck delights in the second course. The crescendo erupted with the third and final course – a spicy duck extravaganza, leaving an indelible imprint on my taste buds. Each dish played a distinct note, creating an ensemble of unforgettable tastes. Describing this gastronomic masterpiece with words feels like painting a canvas with the vibrant hues of sublime, tantalizing, and extraordinary – expressions that merely scratch the surface. It transcends language, weaving a sensory journey that embraces not only the taste buds but envelops all senses in a delightful embrace. If I were to seek divine favor, I'd unreservedly escort God to this gastronomic haven, confident that the brilliance of this culinary experience would evoke a favorable response. So, do you trust me? Absolutely. This isn't just a meal; it's a sensory journey, a gastronomic odyssey. If this experience were a song, it would be a symphony of flavors, leaving an indelible mark on the taste buds, much like a melody etched into the soul."

"This place is amazing. I don’t know what’s considered “authentic” Sichuan cuisine but this place absolutely blew my mind. We ordered hot and sour soup, spicy dumplings, the chicken bao and the crispy beef. Everything was delicious but my favorite was the spicy dumplings. I was worried about the spice level because that can be subjective depending on the place but I would consider everything what I ordered mild to medium and regretted not going full steam and ordering the mapo tofu. We had reservations for 7pm and were sat at 7:15 and ordered and had our food at 7:30. Our server admitted they were understaffed but everything considered I really don’t think that’s that bad. It also might depend on your party size or what you order (the steamed fish another table ordered seemed to require more time for example) Overall the service was friendly and attentive, you just have to be reasonably patient. Can’t wait to come back."

"Ever since I discovered Taste Of Chengdu, it has become my go-to place for Sichuan food, and it never disappoints. Chef Tang not only is from Chengdu (the capital city of Sichuan), but also graduated from a culinary school in Chengdu, he definitely has brought the authentic taste of Chengdu to Orlando. But Chef Tang doesn't just stop here, he has created some new dishes, pushed the original Mala flavor to a higher level and made Taste Of Chengdu into Orlando Michelin guide. Taste Of Chengdu is located in beautiful Baldwin Park, it's tastefully decorated with Chinese sculptures and blown-up photos of Chengdu's cityscapes and the famous wide-narrow alleyway (宽窄巷子) street-food street. All its plates are elegantly custom-made. Dinning here is a feast for both sophisticated palates and artistic eyes. Since Chef Tang is the only one working in the kitchen for now, the restaurant can not run at its full capacity, you need to book a table ahead of time if you have a large party."

"We had a great outing. The restaurant decor was very tastefully made. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Food was top-notch. The flavors are very authentic and different from your average Chinese restaurant. Will definitely be back for more. Note - they have limited seating. Making reservations is highly recommended"
