"The soup is SO GOOD!! I love the kapustnyak zaporozhskiy. The flavors perfect, the pork is tender and full of flavor. The sauerkraut and meat with the blend of vegetables mmm took me back to childhood when real food was slow cooked with love by my Grandma. Generous amount of food . Yummy !! I love that its frozen on arrival so I warmed it up tonight and its fresh and perfect."
"Uzvar was tasty. Generous portion, enough to share. I will be back for more."
"Excellent!! Fresh and perfect flavor !! I read about the kind woman who started this labor of love in the Lake Mary magazine article about her and her frozen fresh prepared food you pick up on Saturday and heat up at home. I am so glad I ordered! She helps Ukrainian women to earn a wage and make wonderful food to take home and eat!! I highly recommend!!"
"Very disappointed! All food is frozen!! We expected a freshly cooked warm food. It doesn’t say on their site that food is frozen! If I knew, I would never buy!!"
"After seeing an article about Ukranian Traditional Food in Lake Mary magazine--not to mention that it's a very short distance from home--I placed an online order for 3 dishes: borshch, farm cheese varenyky, & beef mlyntsi. Getting my order was easy--you just park outside, give them a call, & they bring your order to you. All came frozen & included instructions on how to prepare them. When I got home I put everything in the fridge to slowly defrost overnight. It only took a few minutes to warm up all of the dishes the next night. The borshch was delicious & earthy. The varenyky was surprisingly sweeter than we expected--the cheese filling was almost dessert-like. Lastly, the mlyntsi were divine. We couldn't put a finger on what was familiar with the seasoning, other than it had something in it that reminded us of dishes our mom made for dinner when we were kids. Ahhh...family dinners! We'll be ordering again in the near future."
