"Excellent!! This little restaurant recently had a name/ownership change so we thought we would try it. We had great tequila (good prices) and great (I mean really tasty) food (devoured it). The owner even came by to say hi. We will definitely be back."
"Nice place since it was remodeled (used to be Habaneros) the portion served was very good but at least for my taste buds it needed a bit more seasoning. Not sure if my waiter was new (not going to mention his name) he forgot to bring me a couple of things and he almost took my plate and I was still eating. Then he brought me the check without even asking us if we wanted a dessert! So we just paid and left!!"
"This restaurant is a must! Camacho was an amazing server who was knowledgeable about the menu and very attentive. The offerings are affordable and the portions are generous. I enjoyed a refreshing margarita pitcher with friends and two tacos combo meal. We also got empanadas to start along with chips and salsa. The atmosphere and decor is very well done and makes the restaurant inviting. Highly recommend!"
"For everyone who was sad for Habaneros to go, fear not! This is still the bones of habaneros with a fresh new look and new name. Same cooks. Same heart of the kitchen. Same recipes with new editions added. After the re opening I had been meaning to come in and try it again. Our server was Jonathan. He was nice and attentive. We all ordered our food and it came out fairly quickly. The salsa for the chips was a little bland. And the queso was good but alittle too watery. We got tacos, birra quesadilla, flautas and a chimichanga and a tamal. The birra quesadilla was good. But nothing to write home about. We have had better quesadillas before but once again it's hard to mess up a quesadilla. The flautas and chimichanga were both really hard. Like. Extra extra crunchy. But they still tasted good. The chorizo on my tacos was slightly burned BUT I kinda liked it. Gave it a nice smokey charred flavor. The carnitas was very tender and good..little bit dry but good. And the sauce for the tamal felt kind of plain as well. We still ate every bite and it was an enjoyable meal. I'm glad habaneros is back in business with a new fresh look I hope it brings them lots of business that they deserve."
"Please note that this review was taken the first week of the opening of the restaurant. As always, with my Mexican restaurants I had the beef fajitas so I could do a real compare and contrast. The meat chunks were good and flavorful and really were cooked for the appropriate amount of time and the green peppers and onions. The tortillas were fresh and soft and warm. The service however still need some improvement. I had a long talk with the waiter about wanting double beans and no rice and extra sour cream which none of those items happened. Was also never checked on during my meal."
