"Came in because I just needed a 10 min appointment to get some strong cough syrup for my chest/sinus congestion I have had for a week. Not a single car in the parking lot and no one in the waiting room. Asked when I could see someone and the lady said that if I get my new patient forms completed by lunch I “might” be able to see someone in the afternoon at 2 (this is about 11:15am at this point. I asked where else I could go and they sent me to Weems West who also couldn’t take anyone because they were all taking lunch at 12 and their dr for the afternoon called off sick. I called the medical center back to see if I could take the 2 o clock appointment they mentioned but I had to do my new patient forms first before they went to lunch at noon (they were sitting there eating a muffin not doing anything 30 min earlier when I walked in). This was about 11:45 at this point so there was no way I could make it back in time. No other option was given to me, are there no online forms you can send?? Or ask me the needed questions over the phone?? She eventually said there wasn’t anything they could do for today if that stupid form wasn’t filled out before they went on lunch because they needed to process it. Are you kidding me? How long can that possibly take?? I’d love to get paid to sit there all day. I have never seen such a lack of concern or care from anyone involved in the medical field. They do not care about you here.I eventually called Weems East in Carrabelle and the nicest lady answered, scheduled me for 3 and asked a couple questions for their form in under 5 minutes and that was it. Night and day difference, hire good people."

"If it were possible I wouldn’t even give one star. My husband got a fish hook in his hand and we were told they wouldn’t take care of it. I’ve never heard of a MEDICAL CENTER that wouldn’t treat this. Especially one that is in a town where hundreds of people come to fish. Very disappointing for sure. I sure hope I don’t have a greater emergency at some point because I doubt I would be helped. We’ve been coming to this area for 30 plus years and have never been treated rudely **To add to the “owners response” I understand full well that you are not urgent care. I also called them and they wouldn’t treat him either. I called an ER and they also wouldn’t treat him. I worked for a primary care facility back in my home for 15 years and we would gladly treat people because that’s what we were there for. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all cost! I guess we wouldn’t have been bringing in enough money for you to be bothered by us"

"The staff was very helpful and friendly. My daughter and son needed check ups and shots to get ready for school. Not only did my children love the people, they barely cried when receiving their shots and hugged and thanked the nurse and doctor afterwards. Keep up the great work medical team!"
