"I just had to comment on the rice pilaf, that is the nastiest tasting stuff I have had in a long time. They just need to remove that from the menu. I got the shrimp & oyster dinner. The hushpuppies where a little hard for my liking, but ok, everything else was good.."

"I'm not posting to tell anybody not to eat at this place. I'll tell you why I'm not. Wife walks in orders food. Waits 45 minutes before anybody figures out the ticket has been lost. She asks for money back multiple times. They kept saying they would recook food which would have been another 20 minutes or more which was bull... you fill in the blank. Nobodies food in my tax bracket is worth over a hours wait. Manager cops attitude because we don't want to reward poor job performance by waiting twenty more minutes or probably more. Also a sarcastic "people make mistakes" thrown in. Well you did and like I said I don't reward that. Food is excellent. Service ok till this. Have eaten there before no problems. Matter of fact we were driving almost a hour to buy food at the place. I wasnt even going to do a review. If the manager ,who is supposed to be a leader and set the example had kept her sarcastic mouth shut, owned the mistake and refunded the money on the first request I wouldn't have just wasted minutes of my life posting this. My money is my power over someone like that. And that's why it will be spent elsewhere. Actually the other place we ate at later comped our meal after hearing the story about this place. Go figure. The one star I gave would have been no stars if possible."

"It's pretty decent food but a bit on the high side. Wings were a little undercooked and needed a little more time on the cooker. If you like fried catfish you will like this place. The hush puppies were really good. Took a really long time to get food, and it was nearly empty."

"Had to pick my wife up from the airport the other day. We decided to have lunch before heading home. We didn't want the standard chain restaurant or fast-food stuff, so we searched on line, found this place and decided to give it a try. And we are glad we did! We got the lunch portions of "fried shrimp and fried oysters" and "fried catfish and fried shrimp" with sides of fries and cole slaw (yes, we are fried seafood nuts). The hushpuppies were just like we like them, crispy exterior, fully cooked interior and a hint of sweetness. Orders were delivered promptly and were piping hot. The fries could have been a bit crispier. Other than that the food was delicious. If you like fried seafood and don't want the usual chain-restaurant fare, give this place a shot. The waitstaff are friendly, courteous and attentive without being annoying. Highly recommend!"

"This was my first time visiting. I can't say that I ever writing have noticed this place if it wasn't recommended for us to stop here. I'm glad we did though. They had a 30 shrimp special on the day we went. The food was made fresh to order and either called out for pick up when ready or brought to your table if you decided to fine in. The staff members were very nice and the food was hit and delicious. There was also plenty left for later! Thanks for all you do and for having amazing specials that your clients can take advantage of."
